I live in a house that is waaay bigger than I need for just me and Lucy. (From July to November Lucy is with my ex-wife so she's not with me right now). It has a fairly long private driveway that puts the house back in a wooded area away from other houses and with tons of area for dogs to explore on our walks. I also have a roommate that is here 24/7 so the dogs are never left alone. I always prefer to meet with parents and pets ahead of time so you can check out my house and make sure I'm a good match for you and your furry loved ones. I've just always been good with animals and find it easy to understand their moods and forms of communication. I know how to be relaxed and let a dog play and have fun but I also know how to turn on the aura of command and bring them under control when needed. I've had a lot of experience working with senior and older dogs and find them to be some of the most gentle and sweet animals out there. Read my reviews and then send me a message! Joe is great! He arranged our meet and greet so that Dude would get to meet the other dog he was sitting while Dude would be there.,when it was determined the dogs got along well, I decided to book Dude’s stay.,He sent me pictures and videos of Dude so that I knew Dude was okay. He made sure Dude got his medicine on time and was well fed and cared for. When I came to pick up Dude this evening, Dude didn’t want to leave with me. We would definitely have Dude stay with Joe again!
Joseph was wonderful. Very good communication. Sent plenty of pictures of Honey and made sure I knew she was doing well!

Schedule
I do work as a professional caregiver for handicapped adults, but I never leave dogs alone for too long when I am dog sitting. These days I have a roommate who is home pretty much 24/7 and she keeps an eye on my dog and any visiting dogs when I'm not home. I enjoy nothing more than putting on a podcast and taking a dog for a nice long walk.

It's simple, I treat your dog the way I would want someone to treat mine. I easily form connections with the dogs I take care of and sincerely care about their health and happiness. When we go on walks I give them plenty of time to sniff around and always take different routes so they get to see and smell new things. I don't get upset if they have an accident and have extensive experience working with elderly dogs.

A typical day
I like to give pets a lot of variety. I know that they have physical, social, mental, and emotional needs. So I like to mix things up and make sure that all these needs are met throughout the day. I make sure my dog, and any dogs I'm watching long-term, have a chances every few days to interact with other dogs and get some socializing in. I like to go in different directions and take different routes when going on walks throughout the day so that they have plenty of things to sniff and interact with. I will let them "set the pace" for the first part of the walk so they get time to sniff lots of stuff and then towards the end will set a more brisk pace to make sure they get good exercise too.
