Hi! I’m Joseph! I’m a passionate dog lover here in Noe Valley (20+ years). I am a writer who works from home in a quiet, peaceful environment with an enclosed backyard,so your pup will enjoy plenty of comfy spaces to relax. I only care for one dog at a time, so your furry family member gets my full attention—just like they would at home. I am 5-Star Rated on Rover and completed my Doggy First Aid training. Whether you’re heading to work, traveling, or just need a break, you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and deeply cared for. No set check-in/check-out times — we plan everything around your schedule. When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like family.

Joseph took excellent care of our anxious dog. I really appreciated his responsiveness and genuine care for our dog. Also appreciate his policy to only care for one dog at a time! Definitely would recommend ♥️
Joe watched our dog Pixel (a whippet) multiple times, including for weeks at a time. Sometimes I feel like he treats Pixel better than we do, giving him undivided attention. The biggest drawback: Pixel never wants to come home! Joe is a kind and responsible pet sitter who clearly loves animals and treats them like a member of the family. If Pixel could write, I'd imagine that he'd recommend Joe too!
Joe and I take care of my brother’s dog Pixel for ~3 months/year. Joe is a very caring dog owner. He works from home so was able to give Pixel constant attention and daily trips to the dog park. On top of that, Joe is very punctual, communicative, and responsible.
Joseph watched our dog Winston and was thoughtful, patient and became one of his new best friends. He even bought special treats just for Winston! If you are looking for someone professional and trustworthy, I cannot recommend him more!

Schedule
I’m a writer and always at home unless I run out to the gym. In that case, I have a doggie cam to monitor your pup. This is only necessary for multi-day stays.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard that is only accessed by a key. My home is clean and comfy. I treat my dog guests as I do my human guests. At this time I am only taking 1 dog at-at-time unless they are from the same family.
A typical day
I love to take my dog guests to the Upper Douglass Dog Play Area. Playing ball and having fun with other dogs while keeping him/her hydrated is my top priority.
