I’m currently in Vancouver on a working holiday visa from Scotland. I have a very flexible schedule and only work part time. I live a very active lifestyle.

I have had my own border collie for over 10 years now. Collies are very high energy dogs so I take him for lots of long walks and hikes. Always up to take a dog on a big walk! Many of my friends have much calmer breeds, so I’m also experienced with much calmer and smaller dogs too.

Dogs are characters, so they almost always have some unique behaviours. I grew up looking after border collies who chase and herd everything and anything that moves. If your dog has anything about them you feel I should know, please tell me.
A typical day
Every dog is different. But I’ll always try to be as active as possible with whichever lovely dog I’m looking after. Whether it be a walk around the park or a bigger walk.

Growing up in rural Scotland, everybody had a dog. Their playful, energetic, loyal and loving nature installed a very special connection in me from a very young age. I’m looking to meet some lovely dogs, and hopefully take them on some lovely walks and hikes! Also very happy to house sit and chill with them, and have them over in my house.

Joseph was a wonderful sitter for Arlo! He helped us out on short notice and was friendly, responsive, and communicative from the get go. It was obvious to us how comfortable and experienced he is with dogs, and he made Arlo (who was anxious about being in a new space) feel right at home during his stay. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos, too. We picked up a happy and healthy dog at the end of our holiday, and we couldn’t ask for more! We wouldn't hesitate to book with him again, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!
Joseph did a stellar job looking after our young active dog while we were away. He made sure that she had lots of play time, walks and attention. I would 100% book Joseph again.
He was amazing with Scooby and took him on so many adventures. Would definitely book again!
