Schedule
As a retired Army veteran who works from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have the flexibility to give pets consistent attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. My routine includes regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, training, and plenty of companionship. I also make time to monitor each dog’s behavior and comfort level, especially with puppies, seniors, and dogs with specific routines or needs. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide a calm, home-like environment with frequent supervision and individualized care. I treat every dog in my home like family and make their safety, comfort, and happiness a priority.

Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, dog-friendly home environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. Dogs receive plenty of supervision, attention, playtime, walks, and affection throughout the day rather than being left alone for extended periods. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications when appropriate, exercise, training, and special care instructions. I’m especially comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with specific behavioral or training needs. I also understand how important it is for owners to feel connected while they’re away. I provide regular photo updates and am happy to offer check-in calls or FaceTime so you can see how your pet is doing. Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in yours, my goal is to create a safe, respectful, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet.

A typical day
Every day is a little different because I tailor the routine to each pet’s personality, age, energy level, and needs. A typical day includes morning potty breaks, walks, breakfast, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Throughout the day, pets can enjoy supervised outdoor time, interactive games, toys, basic training and enrichment activities, and plenty of cuddles and relaxation. For high-energy dogs, I incorporate more exercise and play; for seniors, I focus on gentle walks, comfort, and keeping them on their normal routine. Puppies receive age-appropriate play, socialization, and basic training. I also enjoy taking photos and sending updates so owners can see their pets having a great time. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, engaged, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

- Before sitting any pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their normal routine, personality, and specific needs. Important information includes feeding schedules, medications and instructions, allergies, medical conditions, mobility limitations, anxiety triggers, behavioral concerns, and any special accommodations. I also want to know about exercise needs, potty routines, sleep habits, crate preferences, favorite toys or activities, and how the pet interacts with other animals and people. For puppies and senior dogs, additional details about their care routine are especially helpful. I encourage owners to provide emergency veterinary information and a reliable emergency contact. The more I know beforehand, the better I can provide safe, personalized care and keep your pet comfortable and on their normal routine.
