I work a full time, hybrid situation. I am typically available all weekends and Fridays, with wavering flexibility on weekdays, when I tend to be more available on Wednesdays and Mondays, but not consistently.

With my apartment’s rules, I currently can’t offer to sit dogs in my own home. At your home, I understand that each dog can act different than they do on a leash vs. in their home, so I’ll definitely be sure to respect their boundaries and take care when playing and giving attention. I always make sure to respect spaces that are not mine and I will make sure you return to your place as you left it. I’ll make sure we cover home boundaries and locations of supplies and medication prior to each visit.

Please let me know if your pet requires any medication and how they best take it. Please also let me know if they have special needs or prefer shorter walks/play times. I’d also love to know how good your pet is with other animals and people, especially in regards to walks.
A typical day
Activities will depend on your pet and what they like! I’m happy to take them on walks, play with toys, play fetch, and go to the dog park (depending on their boundaries). Whatever your pet loves to do to be engaged, I am happy to accommodate.

Pet care experience
I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have lived with them for most of it. They are the best! I’m proud to say I’ve volunteered at a local rescue for many of my teen years, in addition to caring for the family dogs I grew up with. I also have experience with anxious and senior dogs and the extra love and patience that they need. It is truly magical to me to earn a dogs trust and share the joy that they radiate. Having a sweet beast of my own, I know so well that dogs are family and I’ll ensure to give them all the attention and love that I can in my care.

Joseph was more than I could have hoped for. Came over for a meet-and-greet with my cat Poe, was super thorough about taking notes and asking questions. Every day I was gone, I received updates about how my senior cat was doing. Joe administered medications to him, fed him, kept him company, and was so polite and thoughtful throughout the entire process. I couldn't recommend Joe as a pet-sitter with more emphasis! An excellent person to look after your animal for a bit. An excellent all-around person, period.
Joseph was reliable and very patient looking after my shy cat while I was out of town!
