Availability
I work from home on a flexible schedule, so if a pet stays with me I’m with them almost 100% of the time and love having a dog or cat to play with, care for, or just hang out with. I’m usually very flexible and often available on short notice. I’m available most weekends and holidays too, as I know they’re a higher priority for most people.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is basically built for pets. It’s very clean, and there’s very little to knock over or steal off the counter. Pets are welcome on my couch if you allow it at home. When boarding or house/pet sitting, I stick to your house rules. I feed, walk, administer meds (even injections) on your schedule, and always keep food, water, and your home clean and safe. My goal is to make them safe and comfortable, and have fun while you’re away.

Leash behavior (do they pull, jerk etc ) 8. Any aggression or resource guarding 9. Interaction with people & dogs in public 10. Housesitting rules & responsibilities 11. A typical day
I take care of all ages, breeds, behaviors and health conditions, and tailor activities to each. If a dog needs to burn lots of energy I’ll walk, run, and play with them for hours on end. For older, less healthy pets we can do more indoor play, go to a quiet dog park, or my patio. With senior or less healthy dogs, we just stay home and go out for pottie breaks or I may take them out in a stroller to get some fresh air. Occasionally, I also do outdoor excursions where I take them for hikes in the woods, agility training or other things.

Pet care experience
Pets are our families and best friends, and I’m lucky to have been caring for and training them my whole life. I welcome pets with special needs, quirks, or behaviors, and pay special attention to keep them safe, entertained, and happy, providing a great experience to them, and their owners. If you live in, or are visiting the city, and need someone to provide comfort, and keep your pets safe from cars, dropped food, other dogs, or unfamiliar people on walks, I’m a good choice. I’ve lived and cared for dogs in urban environments most of my life, and I’ve lived in downtown Nashville for 7 years, so I know what to avoid and stay extra alert so you can rest assured they’re in good hands. Whether you need pet/house sitting, boarding, or daily walks and feeding, I’d love to take care of your pets. I’m flexible and often available on short notice.
Reviews

My little one is precious to me as life itself and Joseph did a great job taking care of her. His knowledge of dogs, especially seniors, makes him a super choice for anyone looking for a caring sitter.

Joesph was VERY communicative, extremely kind and friendly, and offered to go above and beyond the needs. Would have him stop by again!

Joseph was so so so wonderful with our two pups. He made himself available to talk prior to our dates to discuss our 13 yr. old pup who takes meds. Sent pics and communicated every day of their stay. Went out of his way to do whatever he could to make their stay the most comfortable. And our pups had a perfect stay in the city. 1000% will be using him again.
I have been fortunate enough to have Joe look after my pups many times over the years. He's always been the most attentive to their needs and builds such great relationships with our dogs. When I have to be away it's really comforting to know that my furry kids are in good hands.
