I grew up with dogs of all sizes including a 30lb beagle and a 105lb black lab. I lived on a farm with horses, cows, goats, and chickens so I know how to work with animals. My black lab was a rescue who loved to pull on walks, lunge at cars, and be reactive around dogs and I enjoy the process of teaching dogs how to walk properly and safely, especially near vehicles. I also enjoy training basic commands like sit, stay, paw, spin, and recall.

even as a young child, Elijah has always loved pets and has been an extremely responsible and compassionate person. While I might be somewhat biased, there are a few people that care as much as he does about animals and people. Growing up around many different types of animals, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and goats he is very comfortable around pets. He always loves taking the family dogs for walks and exercising them. I’m sure if Elijah starts working for Rover, no one will be disappointed with how their pets are being treated.
Elijah took such great care of my dog Benji while I was out of town! He made sure Benji got plenty of walks, sent me tons of photo updates, and gave me complete peace of mind knowing my pup was in good hands. I’ve trusted Elijah multiple times now for dog care, and every time he’s gone above and beyond. I couldn’t recommend him more!

Schedule
I work fully remote and have a flexible schedule where I am able to play, train, and walk the dogs before work, during lunch break, and after work.

Safety, trust & environment
My Wife and I live in a 4 bedroom house with plenty of room and no other pets. We live on a private HOA dirt road with minimal traffic. Typically when doing doggy-daycare, I will do a short walk in the morning, and longer walk at lunch 30-60min, and another short walk in the afternoon.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and practice tricks like sit, stay, paw, spin, or whatever other tricks the dog may know. We also enjoy 2-3 walks per day on our quiet dirt road.
