I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there.

I follow each dog’s routine closely — including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and cuddle preferences — while giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and calm energy. I also love sending photo updates so owners know their pups are happy and well cared for.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joey has been absolutely incredible. From day one, he has been patient, kind, dependable, and genuinely caring with my Great Dane, Zeus. He took the time to earn Zeus's trust instead of rushing the process, and it has been amazing to watch their bond grow. Joey is professional, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. He treats Zeus like one of his own and always goes the extra mile to make sure he's happy, safe, and well cared for. It's obvious that Joey understands dogs and knows how to work with them in a calm, confident, and compassionate way. Having someone you can completely trust with your dog is priceless, and I couldn't recommend Joey more highly. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what they do, Joey is the person you want. Five stars without hesitation!
Joseph is truly exceptional with animals. From the moment he met our pets, it was obvious how naturally calm, caring, and attentive he is. Animals immediately trust him, and it’s easy to see why — he treats them with genuine patience, affection, and respect. Beyond being wonderful with animals, Joseph is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. Knowing someone dependable is caring for your pets and entering your home gives real peace of mind, and he absolutely provides that. He’s communicative, responsible, and goes above and beyond every time. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their animals as if they were his own.
I don’t trust many people with my pets but highly recommend Joey. I try to patronize local and LGBTQ+ individuals and businesses to support the community as much as possible and can attest that he is kind, communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. My dog had no issue bonding with him, and I appreciated how thoughtful and attentive he was throughout the whole experience. It’s not easy finding someone that you trust with your pet, so it was a relief finding someone genuinely trustworthy and caring.
Joseph has been absolutely wonderful with my dog. They’re reliable, caring, and incredibly trustworthy. Having lived in San Francisco for over 20 years, they know the city and neighborhood routines so well, which made me feel even more comfortable. My dog adores them, and I always know my pet is safe, loved, and getting great exercise. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable dog walker or sitter.
Joey is the dog whisperer! His gentle, caring nature and patient temperment make dogs instantly at ease with him. The bonus with Joey is how kind and considerate (and typically early!) he is. I can't recommend anyone higher to take care of your dog - Joey is a dream and a total catch.

Schedule
Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, energy, and favorite routines.
