I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets most of my life and have also volunteered with a German Shepherd rescue, where I learned how to handle dogs of all sizes and personalities. I love going on walks and hikes—it’s one of my favorite ways to spend time with dogs and help them get the exercise and attention they need. While I was stationed overseas, I couldn’t have pets of my own, but now that I’m back in the States, I’m excited to reconnect with animals and offer dependable, loving care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or overnight sitting, I’ll make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away. 💛🐾

Josefina and her husband were fantastic with our dog, ziggy. He is a shy dog and warmed up to them quickly. She gave us updates and pictures throughout his stay. They took ziggy on walks, hikes, and jogs daily. Would definitely use Josefina for future boarding.

I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m an early riser who loves morning runs, evening walks, and weekend hiking adventures. Whether it’s a quick morning visit, an evening walk, or weekend sitting, I make time every day to stay active—and I’d love to include your pet in that routine. Of course, I also enjoy the occasional movie weekend just to unwind and relax at home. 💛

I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment with my husband—no other pets in the home, so visiting cats or dogs have our full attention. My husband also loves animals and is signing up as a sitter, but we’ll never double-book to make sure each pet gets the dedicated care and attention they deserve. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, keep a calm and safe environment, and make sure pets feel comfortable and secure whether I’m visiting their home or caring for them in mine.
A typical day
I like to start the day with a morning walk or jog, then make sure pets get playtime and attention before an afternoon of rest. Evenings are for another walk, some relaxed hangout time, and maybe a treat or two before winding down. On weekends, I love going for hikes or trail runs when possible—but I always adjust to what each pet enjoys and can handle.

- I like to know each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs ahead of time. Please share feeding schedules, favorite toys, walking preferences, and any quirks or triggers that help me understand their comfort zone. It’s also important for me to know your household “rules” or training boundaries so I can maintain the structure and consistency your pet is used to. The goal is to keep everything as close to home as possible—safe, familiar, and stress-free while you’re away.
