Walks Perfected, Tails Delighted!
Hello! I’ve been a pet companion and owner my entire life. I’ve raised both mischievous felines and rambunctious canines. Currently, my best friend Roxanne (Staffordshire Terrier) and I have accumulated sixteen years of thrilling adventures and joyously tender memories. We are inseparable. Together we’ve resided in downtown Long Beach for the past ten years. With my loyal companion’s help, we’ve diligently mapped out all the best grass patches, sturdy tree trunks, and secret public gardens to share with future furry friends. I’ve a wide variety of experience with both dogs and cats as I’ve grown up beside them and continue to care for my parter in crime, Roxanne. I’m fluent in both inexperienced youth and mature adults, lazy loungers and hyperactive runners. I’m a positively enthusiastic pet lover and friend, full of energy and a love for the outdoors and any playtime activity. I’m familiar with basic grooming needs such as combing, washing, and teeth brushing. I am also happy to work with any age group in terms of basic command training. I am a firm believer in positive reenforcement in order to teach commands such as sit, stay, come, down, and paw. I do love to dog jog if your family friend has high energy output needs. Simply said, Roxanne and I enjoy both explorative walks and good couch movie cuddles but most importantly enjoy greetings with our fellow pet friends. I am extremely flexible in terms of accommodating your family fur babies needs and preferences and I gladly welcome introductory meet and greets. Rest assured that your family companion's safety, exercise, and overall well being are at the forefront of my work ethic. I earnestly look forward to future merry walks, cheerful playtime, and slobbery doggy/kitty kisses.

Jose was very respectful and friendly and so helpful in accommodating a long drop in visit! As a new dog mom to an anxious pup, it was a huge relief to be able to leave Jupiter in his capable hands. Regular photo updates helped keep my mind at ease, and his gentle and loving nature around her helped to keep her spirits up as well.

Jose is great! He does such a wonderful job taking care of our 2 pups. We see him interact with our dogs and you can tell he has plenty of experience and loves animals. He sends us updates with texts and pictures throughout the day. He does house-sitting and drop-in visits, and we love that he is completely respectful of our home and very trustworthy. The house always looks just the way we left it. We take great comfort in knowing our pups are in great hands.
It was the first time I let my wonderful shepherd mix Mason with anyone. Mason was very shy but within the time frame in which Jose cared for my dog he made him feel very comfortable and also he was so tired from all the activities they did together that mason went directly for a nap. Truly best dog walker I’ve had the pleasure of hiring. Unfortunately I got transferred out of state but I recommend him to anyone.
Jose was phenomenal with my four year old German Shepherd Bear. From the start he was quick to respond and very polite. He showed genuine care by inquiring about any special needs, tips, and general behavior knowledge about bear to best cater to Bears particular walk. He regularly updated with beautiful photos and videos which put me at ease. Bear can be stubborn about when she wants to use the restroom and Jose went above and beyond by offering to extend the walk a few additional minutes until she did. Would highly recommend!
I really appreciated that Jose pays attention to detail. He wanted to make sure that he knew our Lola: from treats and routines. This put us at ease and we never worried, knowing that Jose would be attentive and caring. I would HIGHLY recommend Jose to all my friends with furry friends.

Schedule
As a senior flight attendant, I’ve the ability to enjoy extreme flexibility with schedules. Often I’ll have complete weeks at a time off from flying. This means, when at home, I’ve twenty-four hours of availability for your companion. This flexibility really helps in terms of accommodating each and every pets particular schedule no matter the time of day or night.

I do encourage meet and greets with owner and fur pal. This helps to create a trusting environment where I can gain critical information about special needs and preferences for our pet companion. Additionally, this allows me to best tailor the experience for both owner and pet.
Pets
A typical day
Roxanne and I are an active duo most days. This includes lengthy walks, sometimes we switch off on who picks the direction. Parks visits to nearby Horner and Ronan for a change in scenery, regularly appear on our agenda. During the warmer seasons we find ourselves catching the golden rays at the Long Beach famous Rosie’s dog beach. But as she begins her later years we find enjoyment in quality lounges from time to time on the couch with our favorite snacks and a good movie. We’d love to share these activities with your family companion as well.
