Life long pet lover and dog owner. My favorite thing to do at parties is hang out with the house pets. Ever since I was old enough Ive jumped at the opportunity to watch pets for friends and family. I’m confident working with both behavioral and medical issues whether it be cats or dogs. Experienced and comfortable administering pills, injections, syrups, and topicals. I’m extremely active, making it easy to keep up with energetic dogs. I’m also quite content spending hours trying to gain the trust of a cat, all around animal lover :) No matter what, my goal is to provide care based on the individual needs of your pet. I want to do everything I can to keep pets on their usual routine to maintain their skills and good behaviors. I’m currently living the van life which means my schedule is generally very flexible. I am available for whatever you need including overnights, check-ins for feeding/watering, or walking, as frequently as is needed. My flexible schedule allows me the time to properly care for high maintenance pets (Elderly, disabled, behavioral quirks) and being as active as I am, I’m a great fit for large or high energy dogs. When house-sitting, I do my best to make pets feel safe by maintaining daily rituals and normal home functions. Doing things the pet would usually do with their owner, such as feeding, walks, bed time, parks, tricks, or just playing games with their favorite toy. Spending time outside on walks or at the park is always a big priority. Socialization and exercise are my main focus in pet care because they work so well at reducing anxiety. Each pet has their own preferred outdoor activities which I will always make time for. Generally I aim to be running, swimming, hiking, or at a park for a minimum of 2-4 hours per day.
