Pet care experience
Cat Mom• Small Pets• Special Needs
As a sitter and animal caregiver, I’m experienced with strays, senior & geriatric pets, special needs pets, pets with separation anxiety, kittens, and oral medication administration. As for my experience with pets with disabilities, I’ve cared for dogs or cats with narcolepsy, blindness, etc. I have experience with dogs and cats, and I’m very open and happy to care for your smaller animals like bunnies and guinea pigs. I offer drop-ins and sitting services catered towards your pet(s)’ individual needs. With my pet sitting and animal caregiving experience, I have developed many skills to take care of these specific pets. I have learned that every animal, just like a person, has their own personality, needs, habits, dislikes, and interests. I’m highly attuned to animals and find them easier to communicate with than most people actually lol. They may not be able to talk, but I’m able to catch on to body language very quickly, so I know what a pet is comfortable with or not. I love to treat my pets like they’re my own children, because they are! My promise to you and your pet(s) will include me doing the same thing for them. Anxious, Timid, or Curious Pets: Do you have a dog in a cat’s body? Does your cat, who seems bored or lonely inside, show interest in going outside but isn’t an outside cat? No worries, I can provide safe outside time without them roaming around freely. Do you have a small dog who’s environmentally anxious, fearful of the outside, stranger-wary, noise-sensitive, or very timid? Not a problem at all. I have experience with lots of small dog breeds such as Chihuahuas, Maltese, Pomeranians, Rat Terriers, Yorkies, and Papillons. I can provide them patience and a safe space for them to learn that not all surroundings, people, or animals are scary. I have sat with an anxious and fearful dog for over an hour on the floor because he was too scared to let me walk him. Eventually, I earned his trust. I do not expect immediate results; I focus more on the process. FOR BOARDING — For You to Know: - My boarding environment is catered primarily to cats. I selectively welcome small dogs who are calm, relatively quiet, reliably cat-friendly, and able to peacefully coexist with cats. Dogs should play appropriately with other pets, be comfortable with an indoor-focused lifestyle, and be accustomed to short, manageable potty outings rather than frequent or lengthy walks. - I’m happy to provide supervised outdoor time in controlled environments, such as my patio. Trips away from my residence, including visits to appropriate dog parks or other outdoor spaces, will only be provided with the pet parent’s prior permission. - I accept a maximum of 2 pet guests. - I unfortunately don’t accept pets who aren’t fully house-trained or litter/potty trained. - I DO accept kittens & puppies who are already litter/potty trained. About My Pets: I have two pets. One Chihuahua mix named Chicha, 11 pounds—he’s super sweet, social, and friendly. Completely potty trained. Not aggressive. Great with other dogs, and used to cats since I have my own cat. My cat, Toast, 8 pounds, is also super friendly and used to other cats and small dogs. He’s unfortunately scared of bigger dogs, but he has no issues with small dogs. Both are fully house/potty trained, socialized, and love interacting with other pets! If your pet shows interest in socialization, Chicha will welcome you with curiosity and playfulness, while Toast will be respectful of your space and give you time to adjust. Both of them love to play together; Chicha even loves cat toys. My pets are trained to have their own stations, food, and routines as well. So if you’re concerned about your pet getting their own routine/feeding time, no worries! I’ll make sure to cater towards their needs as well. Socialization won’t be forced, and I will respect their boundaries. Please let me know if your pet prefers certain activities alone, and I’ll make sure to implement that into their routine! I have plenty of experience with pets with separation anxiety or special accommodations, so if your pet needs time and patience to get used to a new environment and other pets, I completely understand and want your pet(s) to feel comfortable in their own time. If you have any additional questions or concerns, let me know! My Boarding Focuses and Specializes In: - Individualized attention to each pet’s needs - A niche environment geared towards cats, small dogs that are cat-like, or really small dogs, and potentially smaller animals - A safe, controlled environment for cats and small cat-like dogs who get overwhelmed with very large or loud spaces or an abundance of interaction with other pets - Slower-paced, yet still engaging interaction with other pets (my pets: see in my profile) - Low capacity and smaller group interaction - Pets who have separation anxiety - Pets with special needs or accommodations - Pets with disorders or disabilities - Seniors or geriatric pets - Pets who need oral medication administration based off of their routine veterinary instructions (pills, powders, capsules, liquids, ear drops, eye drops, etc.) - Helping and assisting trained pets to interact and socialize while keeping their daily routine - Pets with manageable anxiety-related behaviors who can co-exist with my resident pets

Jorie was great! Our cat Daphne loved her. Jorie was very attentive and even spent longer check ins with Daphne since Daphne likes a lot of attention and was needing more toward the end of our time away. We appreciate the extra effort that Jorie made!!

Jorie was very friendly, pleasant and punctual. Daisy loved her.

Jorie was amazing! Will definitely rebook

First time user, didnt know who to look for until a friend told me about Rover and Jorie. She took care of my cat when I needed it last minute. Amazing service
Jorie was an easy choice as a sitter for Carlos and Walt. She came over twice before our vacation to meet the cats and become familiar with their routines. Walt requires medication twice a day and Jorie gave us updates when he received his doses. She was great with staying in communication and sent lots of videos and photos. Cats were settled and stayed in their routines after we arrived home. Superstar cat sitter!

We’re so glad we found Jorie! She was responsive and set up a meet and greet for us. Our pup Madden felt comfortable right away. Jorie kept us updated and was in communication our entire trip and sent photos of our pup a couple times each day which we loved!!! We felt at ease and our pup had a great time! We highly recommend! Thank you Jorie!
