Pet care experience
One of the family!
Between my mom, my grandmother, and me, we’ve welcomed all kinds of furry friends into our home, from tiny tail-waggers to big gentle giants. It comes naturally to us, and we treat every pet with the same care and attention we’d give our own. We lost our beloved dog four years ago, and pet sitting has helped us heal while reconnecting with the love only animals can give. In our home, your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be surrounded by family who truly cares. Whether your pet loves playtime, quiet strolls, or just chilling with loving company, they’ll feel like they belong here from the moment they arrive. Text me for a Meet & Greet! 🙌🏼❤️

Ratings and reviews
We appreciate Jorge and his care for our senior rescue piti. We know our Charlie is always in good hands and has a good time.

We are very thankful for finding Jorge on Rover to take care of our mixed piti, Charlie. Charlie is a 9yo, 80lb rescue, was abused as a pup, and as a result has anxiety and separation issues. Although Jorge has experience working with dogs, he understands our "special needs" rescue pet and Charlie feels comfortable and welcomed by constant care, belly rubs and attention as needed. Thanks Jorge for all you do to care for Charlie!

Jorge and his family took great care of our little reactive dog, as always! We're so lucky to have found them

Jorge is an amazing dog sitter! He has watched our English bulldog twice now and provides lots of updates. It’s clear that Eliza is well taken care of.

Jorge is an excellent caregiver. He's always connected and sends daily updates and photos. Very communicative, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend him for his excellent work.

Jorge was an awesome sitter for my pet! He provided constant updates and photos during my vacation and it was great to hear that my cat loved being around his mother and grandmother. She eventually warmed up to him as well. 😂 We would absolutely use Jorge again to watch our cat if a need arises again in the future!

Schedule
My full-time job keeps me busy around Laurel with a regular 9-6, but outside of work, my routine revolves around fresh air, movement, and exploring new places. Since moving to Rockville from Silver Spring, I’ve enjoyed checking out parks and venues—whether it’s a jog, a peaceful walk, or just relaxing outdoors. This lifestyle naturally blends with pet care, as I love having furry companions join me on walks and outings. My grandmother, who spends most of her time at home, also keeps pets company during the day, ensuring they’re never alone. Whether it’s structured playtime, a calming stroll, or simply enjoying the day together, caring for pets fits seamlessly into my family everyday life.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize creating a safe and loving environment where pets feel at home. In my household, they’re never alone—my grandmother enjoys keeping them company during the day, and I take the lead in providing walks, meals, medications, and playtime. My mom supports me when needed, helping with transportation and care. Whether pets stay with me or I care for them in a client’s home, I ensure they’re comfortable, well-cared-for, and treated like family.
A typical day
Mornings start with an 8 a.m. walk—fresh air, stretches, and a trip to the nearby dog park before I head to work. From 9 a.m. to 5–6 p.m., my grandmother keeps pets company so they’re never alone, and my mom helps when needed. Once I’m home around 6–7 p.m., it’s time for another walk, playtime, or relaxation. Before bed, we take one last outing to wind down the day. Fridays, I work from home, giving pets extra attention throughout the day.
