I have owned and cared for a variety of pets throughout my life and I'm always available for overnights. I have light experience in training dogs, cats, and birds, as well as experience in domesticating feral cats. I am skilled in caring for many animals, including dogs and cats, of all ages; which includes puppies, kittens, or senior pets. I am naturally good with most animals I meet. I'm currently keeping a variety of animals myself and I frequently petsit for my relatives. I'm good at working with pets in situations that might otherwise agitate them, such as taking meds, baths, or in emergency scenarios, and my schedule is flexible.

My own home isn't suited for housing another's pet, as I have roommates and pets of my own, but I can care for pets in a client's home however I may need to. I can bathe them, crate them, stay overnight, offer enrichment, and take them out for play, potty breaks, and socialization as often as they need. I can provide for the needs of high-energy animals and low-energy animals alike.

J is possibly one of the best pet caregivers I've ever met. He balances the strictness necessary for training and/or obedience with the love, patience, and flexibility. I can think of countless instances of his successes with animals under his care: The fact that every chicken he's raised has been extremely hold friendly and after his rooster passed he had trained the hens well enough to put themselves away at night before he went to put them to bed. The instance that he trained both of my mothers feral cats to enjoy petting and one of them to enjoy being carried, transitioning them to primarily indoor cats. His success with training and acclimating a puppy mill dog to be comfortable in her environment and follow commands without fear. The time one of his rescue budgies (very antisocial) lost an entire claw and was bleeding and biting the toe and he was able to manage emergency medical care for the bird (entirely on his own due to not being able to afford the vet), with 100% recovery and no infection. Just the general ease that all animals seem to have with him. He's attentive, well versed in animal behavior, and willing to look into anything that he's concerned about or might not know.

I currently make a living via being a freelance artist, which means I have plenty of time to care for any pet that needs it. My schedule rarely changes week to week, or even day to day, and I'm more than willing to drive upwards of half an hour to reach my clients.
