Outside of Rover, I am also an artist, graphic designer and illustrator. I can work on my projects from anywhere, making my schedule extremely flexible! I don’t smoke, vape or drink and I’m a vegetarian. I am a big softie and animal lover! I’m also very conscientious and detail oriented. It’s important to me to leave a place better than I found it and be respectful of your space, time, and routine or schedule. I’m very domestic and will take good care of your home while I have the privilege to stay in it.

I’ve cared for dogs who are shy, escape artists, elderly dogs who need a bit more help and patience, high needs puppies, medically complicated pets, and even exotic animals with special care instructions. I’m happy to accommodate most pet needs. I’m a big believer in communication. Please let me know your pet’s schedule, what behaviors you want to encourage or discourage, commands they know, and your pet’s unique needs, habits, quirks, and anything (big or small) that’s important to you about your little companion. I know every pet has their own likes and dislikes and unique little personality! I do charge an extra fee for more than 45 minutes of walking a day while pet sitting, for pets that are not neutered or spayed, for some pets that have special medical difficulties, and my fee is doubled for pets that require constant care. Let’s plan a meet and greet and I can get to know you and your bestie!
A typical day
The most important thing to me is keeping your pet’s normal schedule and routine. I know a break from routine can be stressful for them, especially when their family is gone. Think of me as your pet’s nanny - I’m here to give them extra special attention while you’re away! When house sitting, I’m happy to tend to gardens and plants as well and I will of course take care of routine household chores such as shoveling snow, getting trash cans out to the curb, and keeping things tidy. I am never away from your pets for more than four and a half hours. I love taking dogs for walks! I can be an early riser or night owl as needed. I’m not afraid of dog hair and I’m happy to get on the ground and have some good play time to get some energy out. Or if your pet is more slow speed, I’m happy to stop and smell the roses and give some gentle pats. I don’t mind sharing a bed with dogs who are used to sleeping with their people. I love taking pet pictures and sending them your way! I know the peace of mind pics can give you while you’re away from your fur babies.
