Important details include their feeding schedule, medications, allergies, favorite activities, comfort items, behaviors, and any special instructions from their owner. I also like to know how they interact with new people, other animals, and different environments, as well as any signs of stress or anxiety to look out for. Understanding their normal habits helps me keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away.
A typical day
When I care for pets, I focus on making them feel comfortable, happy, and loved while keeping their normal routine. During drop-ins and overnight care, I spend time getting to know each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or more relaxed. I provide meals, fresh water, medication when needed, litter box care, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I love creating enrichment opportunities through interactive play, exploring, training with positive reinforcement, and activities that keep pets mentally and physically engaged. I make sure pets get the care they need while their owners are away, including updates and photos so they can feel confident their furry family members are safe and happy.

My dog came back from a full weekend of fun! He didn’t want to leave when I came to pick him up 😂
Home was unkempt with lots of notable feces in front porch and no accommodations for my dogs. Will go back to my regular rover. Only used her because my regular was out of town.
Jordyn & Popi took great care of our two slightly older labs. Pick up and drop off went smoothly. They have a great place for the dogs to hang out and be comfortable. I will definately be using them again!
My Lily had a great time and although she was excited to see me when I picked her up she didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this sitter to anyone.
