I work 3x a week at my “full time” job, 8 hour shifts, on the west side of Madison. This leaves me with ample flexibility and free time - I work from home about half of the time. I prefer long term stays for this reason, and most, if not all, save my memory, of my past pet visits have been for 3 or more days.

First, I let the pets warm up to me, giving them the floor to tell me what they want. I stay with the pets as much as is possible so that they don’t feel alone, and I give them attention, affection and love while their parents are away. We go for long lazy walks each morning and night, at the least, and play with toys/prep puzzles/exercise their minds, if applicable. I care for the animals as if they were my own babies, because they are for the time being, and we have such fun adventures. Each one of them have unique personalities, and it’s for my pleasure to spend time with them!

My preference is for long term sits. My favorite sits involve giving extra patience, love and attention to the elderly - pets, and humans too, at my day job.
A typical day
We will go for lots of walks and adventures around the neighborhoods, go to a dog park (if applicable), go for car rides, explore parks and *maybe* even go for a tandem run… We will have lots of snuggles and enjoy our day(s) together!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of neighbors/family/parents of friends’ homes and pets since I was a little girl. I enjoy pet sitting because it gives me a reason to get outside and move my body, something I don’t (yet) do for myself… And of course, pet therapy is an added bonus.
