I never expected anything to happen to my dogs, but I always tell the sitter to do whatever they can to help them. My Doberman puppy ended up fracturing his toe the morning after I dropped him off. I was incredibly impressed and grateful that the sitter took the initiative to bring him to her workplace, which happens to be a veterinary office. Although I didn't see her text for a couple of hours and initially told her just to give him some anti-inflammatories, she went above and beyond by getting x-rays done. It turned out his toe was fractured, and I truly appreciate her handling everything for me. My dogs were safe and extremely well taken care of! My puppy is only seven months old and was very excited to be in a new place with another dog. I suspect he ran, slipped, and injured himself that way. I do not, in any way, blame the sitter. Her dog was also very good with mine. I will definitely be using her services in the future because it is probably one of the best places I've found for my dogs.
