I always ask about: • Medical conditions, allergies, or medications • Feeding schedule and food restrictions • Walking habits—leash behavior, fear triggers, or reactivity • Social preferences: do they like other dogs, kids, or strangers? • Favorite toys, games, and comfort items • Any behavioral quirks I should be aware of This helps me make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away!
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! With dogs, I’ll tailor walks and playtime to their energy level and personality. This could include: • Scenic walks in the neighborhood • Playtime with toys • Social time at dog parks if they’re comfortable with other dogs • Mental stimulation like “sniff walks” or treat scavenger hunts If I’m watching a cat or another pet, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention too—like interactive toys or cozy cuddle sessions if they’re into that!

Hi, I’m Jordyn! I graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences in 2025 and am currently a second year Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine student at The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine! I have over 5 years of animal experience including shadowing at a vet clinic, working as a Veterinary Assistant, working at a Large Animal Hospital at the Wisconsin Vet school, working in a research lab, dog sitting, and a 2 week animal rehabilitation abroad trip to Thailand. I have experience with all types of animals including dogs, cats, poultry, cows, horses, llamas, alpacas, elephants, and more! I’m an animal lover at heart!

Jordyn was so helpful with my pups ozzy and Harriet. She watched them for a weekend while we went camping and we were so greatful! She provided daily pictures and updated and ensured our pups were take care of while we were away.
