Pro belly scratcher and cuddler!!
Hi there! I’m Jordyn, a lifelong dog lover who’s grown up around pups of every size, breed, and personality. From playful pit mixes to shy chihuahuas, I’ve always believed each dog deserves care that fits their unique needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is my sensitivity to each pet’s comfort and emotions. I pay close attention to their cues, follow their routines, and make sure they always feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, a cozy cuddle, or a little extra playtime, I’ll go above and beyond to make your dog’s day brighter. You can count on me to treat your furry friend like family, because to me, that’s exactly what they are. ❤️
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
To say that Jordyn is an animal lover and an exceptional animal caretaker would be an understatement. Jordyn's methods of pet caretaking are second to none, prioritizing empathy and tenderness when helping animals as so to understand them and have them feeling like the best pet in the world. She has over 15 years experience taking care of family pets and a wide range of animals including but not limited to dogs, fish, snakes, hamsters, and cats. Although animals cannot speak, Jordyn has a way with animals to where she makes them feel like they are heard and valued in what they want to do, eat, drink, etc. and not treating them as an accessory or anything else of the sort. She is also a very diligent and thorough walker of pets, making sure they get their full exercise and fresh air through daily walks and as mentioned earlier, catering to the pet on how long they want to stay outside or when they want to go back in. With walks it does not feel like Jordyn is doing it to check a box, she is doing it to give the animal its daily fresh perspective on life and ensuring that they will be healthy for years to come. Jordyn is the ideal candidate for Rover as she is the perfect embodiment of Rover's values and mission statement. Animals will be thrilled to be taken care of by Jordyn.

Schedule
Pet care is a regular part of my routine! I love starting and ending my days with walks or playtime. It’s the best stress reliever and keeps me active. On weekdays, I plan my schedule so I have plenty of time for drop-ins, walks, and quality one-on-one time with each pet. Weekends are usually more flexible, so I can dedicate even more time to longer walks, park visits, or overnight care. Caring for animals isn’t something I “fit in”, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make space for every day. Spending time with pets adds so much joy and balance to my week!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always start by learning their routine — from feeding times to favorite toys — so I can keep things as consistent as possible. In my home, I create a calm, cozy space with plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles (and of course, lots of positive attention!). In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any specific instructions closely, whether that’s sticking to a medication schedule, maintaining house rules, or giving a little extra reassurance if they’re feeling shy. I make it my goal for every pet to feel at ease and cared for, no matter where they are.
