After the experience I had, I wouldn't trust her to take care of a pet rock, let alone a living thing. On the day of drop off, everything seemed fine. It wasn't until I was on the other side of the country on for my best friend's wedding that problems arose. Firstly, she said that she charges extra for walks, which had not been previously mentioned and has never been the case for any of my previous rover bookings. Then, later that day she said she couldn't take care of my dog anymore because she had been resource guarding. Harper has never displayed these tendencies in the past and has been pet sit with other dogs several times. I received very little information about her alleged behavior, nor any indiciation as to how the other dogs were behaving, and no communication about whether or not she was safe in that moment. I pushed her to communicate all of these things and only got confusing and/or vague answers. Furthermore, there was no communication about this alleged behavior prior to when she said she could not take care of her anymore. Everything seemed fine (other than the charging for walks thing) then out of the blue, with hours to go before the ceremony started, she said she could no longer take care of her. When I told her I had gotten a friend to come pick her up, she said she was not at the house and had left my dog alone with her friend who was, in her words, "not comfortable handling your dog". The fact that her friend would be taking care of my pet was never mentioned. In fact, the thing that attracted me to her profile was that she said she was going to be always present with my dog. When she texted saying she was home my friend started to head over. When my friend got back they realized that they had not been given the food that was left with Harper. I had them get a new bag and decided to deal with it when I got home. When I got home, I texted Jordyn asking when a good time to come pick up the bag would be. She claimed that she didn't have it and in fact had moved out of town. This was the day after my original booking was supposed to end, meaning that Jordyn had moved to an entirely different city within the time frame she was supposed to take care of my dog. I asked her if she remembered handing it off and she said she wasn't present at the drop-off (despite saying she was home 15 minutes before it happened) and that her friend and sister took care of it. The fact that she was moving to a different city in the time frame in which she was taking care of Harper was never communicated to me in the weeks we chatted back and forth prior to the drop-off date. After all of this chaos, one of two things is true. Either, Jordyn is intentionally lying/concealing crucial details about the stay, or she is one of the worst communicators in the world and somehow forgot to mention several very important pieces of information and somehow lost a giant bag of food.

Jordyn watched my two big German Shepherds at my house and they loved her which was great because they are weird with new people at first. She sent me pictures of my dogs well i was out of town and always let me knew how they were doing. I trust her with my dogs and my house.
