A vacation for you and your pup!
I grew up with three big dogs as members of my family. But since these days I don’t live with any dogs of my own, your dog gets to be the star of the show while they stay with me. I joined Rover because I love spending time with dogs and want to help give your pet a vacation while you're on yours. That means your dog gets to stay in a fun, comfortable environment while you're out of the house, and have someone to play with them, let them out when they need, and take them on nice long walks. All dogs are different and have different needs, and I am prepared to follow any special care directions to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy while you're gone. Because I work part time, my schedule is flexible, and I'm happy to chat about any questions you might have. Ask me anything you'd like to know! I also have experience looking after cats.

Jordan was fantastic! He took amazing care of our dogs Obi and Nigel and even gave us daily updates on how they were. He was also very flexible with our schedules. We definitely use him again! Highly recommend!
Jordan has been great with Snickers and with communicating. Snickers gets bad separation anxiety so I don’t like to leave her but Jordan does a good job comforting her and keeping me updated

Jordan was great! He kept me updated throughout my trip, and even though my cat is pretty shy, she really warmed up to him! Everything was taken care of perfectly, I'll definitely use Jordan again for any cat sitting.

Schedule
I work part time, so the longest your dog will be unattended is 6.5 hours (but many work days are shorter than that, and I am completely free on weekends).

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to accommodate any of you or your pet’s needs to make their stay comfortable and as close to their regular routine as possible. I appreciate doing Meet and Greets before a stay to find out if we’re a good fit for each other.
A typical day
I live on the upper floor of a converted single-family duplex in a small one bedroom apartment. I live in Southwest Detroit, right off the Clark Ave exit on I-75, and short distance from Corktown, Midtown, and Downtown Detroit. I live in a grassy, residential neighborhood with sidewalks that is great for walking. At home, I'll make sure to give your dog quality time and attention, and I make sure that every dog who stays with me gets let out at least three times a day, with at least one long, minimum 30-minute walk.
