I work full time but occasionally work from home. For this reason, Thursday to Sunday or Monday is best for me. I am active and love going on walks, hikes, and runs in and around the beautiful Portola Valley neighborhood. I love to hang on the couch and snuggle in the evenings! Dogs (non shedding) allowed on the bed :)

Information Jordan M. would like to know about your pet

I have also fostered senior dogs over the years and have helped those with special needs. Just let me know what your dog may need and I’ll make sure to accommodate as if they were my own.

A typical day

Wake up, coffee in the backyard, a stroll around the neighborhood, then breakfast (I share a bit if you are okay with that), and almost always an adventure outdoors. I am mostly doing this for the fun of it so will be sure your pet has a blast in my care.

Hikes, agility and new tricks!

Pet care experience

I’ve owned dogs my entire life (at one point we had 5 at time!) love taking them for long walks, teaching them new tricks like weave (and handstand!), and engaging their minds with agility. My senior dog recently passed and while I am not ready to get a new dog just yet, I miss having a dog so want to occasionally dog sit to help others out with their dogs before getting another dog of my own.

I cannot recommend Jordan and Dave highly enough. My dog, Chip, absolutely loves spending time with them and I feel so at ease when I go out of town knowing that he is in great hands. Jordan and Dave send me updates and photos, and always ensure Chip follows his normal routine and is comfortable and happy. They take him on walks, hikes and sometimes they even have him practice agility with the course they have in their backyard. They are willing to administer medicine and happily follow my complicated feeding routine. Chip is always tired and happy when I return home and the peace of mind Jordan and Dave provide is priceless. Thank you!

I’m so glad I found Jordan on Rover! She is reliable and communicative and I know my dog Maggie is in good hands when I leave her with Jordan. She has been a dog owner her whole life and seems to have a lot of experience taking care of puppies, senior dogs, big and small dogs, and dogs with medical conditions, so I feel confident that she would know what to do if Maggie had any behavioural or health issues while she is with Jordan.
