Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked in professional pet care, taken courses in animal first aid/CPR and positive-reinforcement/Karen Pryor clicker training, worked alongside livestock veterinarians, and even had experience around Security/IED K9s. I especially enjoy learning how each dog communicates. Some dogs want to cover some ground, some want to stop and sniff everything, and some need a little patience and encouragement before they’re comfortable. I adjust the walk to the dog in front of me. My love for dogs started young. When I was 8, my neighbor passed away and left me Sawbuck, his Shepherd/Lab mix. He showed me how strong the bond between a person and a dog can be, and I’ve been learning everything I can about them ever since.

Highly, highly recommend Jordan. I have two active hounds, each benefiting from different activities to keep them happy. One thrives on fast walks/ jogs and the other prefers getting in his sniffs and watching crowds. Jordan is wonderful with both of them, intuiting exactly what they need. He has stayed overnight with them on three separate occasions and each time I came home to happy, relaxed pups (and very conscientious care of my home).

Jordan took such great care of my dog while I was away on my trip. From the start, his communication was excellent & he kept me & my gf updated regularly and always responded quickly, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I especially appreciated all the pictures and updates he sent; it was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after. I would absolutely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter.

Jordan did a great job looking after Marley. For being an energetic puppy, Jordan gave her plenty of exercise. She came back home exhausted!

Schedule
I love getting dogs out of the house and moving. Whether your dog needs a good exercise walk, a slower sniff-filled adventure, or simply a dependable midday potty break, I’ll tailor our time together to what works best for them. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities, including high-energy dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra patience. My goal is to provide a positive, safe and enjoyable experience for both you and your pet. I’m a Marine, so following detailed instructions comes naturally to me. Give me as much information about your dog as you’d like — I genuinely enjoy learning their routines, personalities and quirks. After every service, I’ll provide an update on how things went along with photos and anything I noticed during our time together.

My goal is to provide a positive, loving and safe experience for your pet and you. I’m a Marine so following orders/directions exactly as you give them is in my blood. I love information so feel free to write/leave as much as makes you comfortable. I will send after service reports where I provide feedback/requested information and brief of the care service.
Pets
A typical day
Every dog gets individual attention based on what they need that day. For walks, that might mean covering some ground and burning energy, slowing down for plenty of sniffing and exploring, or reinforcing good walking habits with positive reinforcement. I pay attention to body language, energy level, weather and the environment around us. Safety comes first, but I also want your dog to have a genuinely good time. I’ll follow your normal routines and cues so that I’m working with what you’ve already established at home.

- Tell me everything! I genuinely enjoy learning a dog’s personality and routine — I’d happily read a book about your pet. I’d especially like to know their normal walking routine, energy level, leash habits, triggers or fears, favorite activities, commands/cues they know and anything you’d like me to watch for. Please also provide a primary and backup contact in case I ever need you. The more I know about your dog, the better I can make our time together.
