I am currently on Sabbatical leave from work, so I’ve been spending plenty of time with my children and our fur babies. I’ve created a routine for our days, including walk times, play times, feeding, and socialization. It’s been great to be out and about, not just for me, but also because the animals love it as well!

Safety, trust & environment
I have the same mindset and care process for animals in my home and in clients home. Positive reinforcement. This is my favorite way to care for animals, because it not only corrects behaviors in a healthy manner, it also creates and strengthens the bond between you two. Additionally, I love to do meet and greets before accepting a new client, and in that I ask the best ways to support their animal and follow those guidelines as well.
Information Jordan H. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

I was born and raised In Orange County, specifically Irvine. I currently live at home with my partner, our two beautiful children, and our fur babies in the Santa Paula community. I absolutely love my neighborhood (and the entire Ventura County area), because it all feels like home to me. Every part of this county has such amazing places to take walks and such great views and atmosphere. Whether it’s one of the hiking trails, a walk along the beach, or even down the street. The weather is perfect, the sun is shining, and most importantly, our pups are outside enjoying it all. In my immediate neighborhood, I love walking around the Harvest Development. It is such a gorgeous view! They even included a dog drinking fountain in the area. I love walking through any of the large local parks and trails as well. There are so many great places to bring pups, we’ll never be starved of adventure! I believe that a healthy pup is a happy pup, so getting out and about will always be on the menu.

Pet care experience
Working with animals has let me in on their greatest secret: they’re all so unique! Each one of them has their own individual needs and wants, and it’s up to me to be able to attend to them. I love getting to know their personalities and make sure that they’re taken care of no matter what. I just love to be around animals, and I’ve done whatever I can to be able to provide the love and care pups need to thrive! My history of taking care of dogs is very long. I have been a dog owner since the year 2000 and have spent the last 26 years caring for pups in all sorts of capacities. During my junior year of high school, I interned at an animal hospital in Irvine, where I learned how to administer shots and oral medication, basic grooming techniques, walking methods, identifying signs of aggression and anxiety, performed several ultrasounds, sat in on surgeries, and much more. I’m currently in the process of getting CPR certified as well! Needless, to say, I’m very committed to making sure that I’m ready for any situation. Currently, I have a four-year-old golden doodle, two cats am loving every minute of their company! I’ve sat for tons of different pups in the past, and really enjoy being a dog sitter. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. For me, communication is one of the most important aspects of any stay—and that goes for you and your pup! I’m very attentive to the needs of a dog, and am happy to adjust any stay to their particular needs. Whether that’s going for lots of runs or just being a couch potato together, I’m game for anything! Likewise, I always make sure that my owners are kept up-to-date through tons of regular updates. Those updates always include pictures as well, so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pup, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible!

Thanks so much for taking care of San Francisco. We really appreciate the help..

Jordan is so prompt! I requested his help and 2 seconds later received a text! It’s like magic! Instead of being worried about the dogs all day I knew they were happy and being taken care of.

Jordan is great!! Super friendly and very good with our pup. And very responsive. :) We will definitely be contacting him again!!
Jordan did such an amazing job with our dogs! He is always so kind and friendly when he takes care of our little ones! We love seeing all the cute photos he takes with them while we are away! He is great at communication. He handled the situation perfectly when our poor little ginger got very sick one night while we were away.
