Dog loving couple!
My wife and I are eager to look after your pets! My wife works from home so our schedule is flexible, and we'd be happy to host your pup! We’re very active and enjoy going for runs and walks. I’ve taken care of friends’ and family’s dogs for over 9 years now and loved it! Sydney has taken care of her own, friends', and family's dogs since she was a kid. She's raised her own rescue pups since they were young and have since taken care of them into their old age. She's helped with training her own puppy and friends', and is very familiar with managing medications, special diets, and other special needs. She's also been a volunteer at a golden retriever rescue since high school and has years of experience walking, feeding, and bathing dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs in terminal care at the sanctuary. One of her own dogs recently passed away, so she has plenty of experience caring for senior pups who need to take things a bit slower. We're very excited to meet you and your fur babies and help with whatever you need!

Collin had a great time with Jordan! He is very shy but Jordan was patient and attentive to him.
Jordan and his fiancé were incredibly sweet, and were fast to respond and communicate for an evening to watch my pup! As soon as we got to their apartment to drop her off for the first time (we just moved to the neighborhood recently), our dog was already so excited to see them and acted like she already knew them and was ready to hang out! Thank you so much again, Jordan, for taking such great care of Ophelia for us!

Schedule
My wife works from home and will both be available throughout the week to take care of your beloved pups! My schedule varies throughout the year but together we're available most days for walking, boarding, or daily dog sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a studio apartment and have nearby parks and green spaces where your dog can run and play! We also have two outdoor spaces in our building to relieve pets often. Our neighborhood is very dog-friendly and we would happily bring your pup on a walk or jog (if that's their thing) with us along the river. For boarding/daily dog sitting, we will have dog beds available for their comfort and don't mind if they get comfy on the couch too! We also don't believe in yelling at our pets, but would rather have a designated "time-out place" should any poor behaviors occur (especially if you are training your dogs).
A typical day
Depending on their energy we could go on walks/runs along the East river or to a nearby park throughout the day. We also have an outdoor space at our apartment complex for quick bathroom breaks throughout the day. If we're spending an extended period of time together over a few days, we would be happy to explore the city together to take them to new parks/dog parks too! We understand how important it is that dogs are well socialized, so we would love to take them out to make friends in new spaces. We could also play in our outdoor space at our apartment complex, and indoors with lots of toys.
