I’ve always had a passion for animals of all kinds since I was young. I cared for all manner of pets growing up, and even worked on a farm with cattle and herding dogs. I eventually grew up to attend NC state and graduated with a zoology degree. And while I do work with large exotic animals, I have over 4 years of experience working with dogs as a lead kennel attendant at camp BowWow. That experience includes feeding, medicating, behavioral assessment and response, first aid, enrichment, and basic training for dogs of all breeds and ages.

I have been a pet-sitter on several occasions in the past, and every single time I get the opportunity I do my best to leave the clients house and pet looking and feeling better than when I arrived. If there is a routine established, I’m happy to follow it, and if not I’m happy to go with the flow. I of course can transport myself, and am happy to stay and play or do quick check-ins. I’ve worked with all types of dogs with varying temperaments and energy levels, so I have no problem matching whatever level is needed.

Schedule
I work with animals full time right now, so Tuesday-Saturday I typically am busy until about 5pm. I am open to helping out with your furry friend in the evenings though! Sunday and Monday are typically my days off, and I’d be happy to help most anytime during either of those days as long as I have a bit of notice.
