I have had dogs all my life. I lost my dog several years ago and while my work schedule doesnt allow me to get another dog, I miss having a dog in the house. I believe dogs are valuable members of our families who deserve the best care while their parents go away. I will provide more then just care, I will provide your dog with love, cuddles and walks while you are away. I have dealt with dogs with stranger aggression and separation anxiety so I understand the extra love and care these dogs need. I am good at sticking to routine and understand how stressful change can be for a dog. If you chose to leave your dog in my care I will strive to reduce the stress of the change.

Jordan did a great job looking after our dog. We haven’t left him very often, but we felt very comfortable with Jordan’s care. She was careful with ensuring he got his medications on time, and was quick to respond to any questions. Our pup seemed happy and content at her house.
Jordan has been great with our dog whenever we need to travel. We have used her multiple times and really cares about his needs. She always sends picture updates which is nice!

Jordan was amazing! It was our first time really leaving Charlie alone since he joined our family and we were considerably nervous. Charlie can be an anxious dog at times, but Jordan knew exactly how to handle him and make him feel safe. She checked in with us with updates and pictures through out his stay and really established a calm environment for Charlie. We will definitely be booking with Jordan again!

Schedule
On weekends I will be home all day with your dog. During the week I am available for house sitting, but I work in a fulll time job in Carlisle, PA so the closer to Carlisle the shorter the time I am away.

Being away from their home and people can be stressful so at my house we spend lots of time cuddling. If I stay at your house I try to keep things as normal for them as possible. I follow the dogs lead, doing whatever makes them most comfortable.
A typical day
I believe there is no typical day when taking care of a dog. The days will all depend on the dog. Because dogs separation can be stressful for some dogs I try to avoid situations where they will encounter other unfamiliar dogs and people. Too much change when their parents are away can be difficult for even the most well behaved dogs.
