Care I’d Want for My Own Dog

My wife and I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog behind, because we’ve been on the other side of that decision many times. We treat every dog as if they were our own and focus on creating a calm, consistent routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. We’re attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means extra patience with senior dogs, sticking closely to feeding and medication schedules, or giving anxious dogs the reassurance they need to settle in. We communicate proactively so you always know how your dog is doing. What sets us apart is the level of care and thought we put into making sure both you and your dog feel at ease. Our goal is not just to watch your dog, but to give you genuine peace of mind while you’re away. My wife works remote and I’m in office once a week so you also get the benefit of two people watching your dog. Our house is a 3 story so please keep that in mind if you have a senior pup.

Thanks for taking such good care of Ruby! She really enjoyed herself and enjoyed hanging out with Ned.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to be present, attentive, and flexible throughout the day. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, check-ins, and companionship rather than leaving dogs alone for long stretches. I have a high-energy dog of my own, so multiple walks each day are already part of my routine. In addition to walks, I focus on structured play and mental stimulation to keep dogs engaged and fulfilled. In the evenings, I incorporate enrichment activities like puzzle toys, training games, or calm play to help them wind down and feel settled. Because this is already how I live day to day, adding another dog into the mix feels natural. Your dog won’t just be fit into my schedule, they’ll be part of an active, caring routine built around their needs.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I follow their routine and instructions as closely as possible, especially when it comes to diet and health. I’m very strict about food, treats, and ingredients and I never give anything outside of what you approve. My own dog has a chicken allergy and sensitive skin, so I understand how important it is to be diligent about reading labels, avoiding cross-contamination, and sticking to specific feeding guidelines. I’m careful about separating food, using designated bowls, and following exact portions and schedules. Beyond diet, I pay close attention to each pet’s comfort and well-being, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, enrichment, and rest. My goal is to provide consistent, thoughtful care so your pet stays happy, healthy, and safe while you’re away.
