Vet Hospital Manager Experience

With over 8 years of experience managing a busy veterinary emergency hospital, I have a strong background in animal health, behavior, & emergency care. In addition, I've been active in the dog community for years by competing in AKC Scentwork trials & Conformation (dog shows). I'm confident handling pets with a wide variety of needs, from routine care, to administering medications & supporting those with special needs. I'm currently a stay at home mom to two little girls, who have been raised around dogs and have watched me train and compete with them. They've learned to be respectful and gentle with animals. We also share our home with our friendly 8 year old, 15 pound Poodle, who holds multiple dog sport titles. Being home full time gives me great flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care, whether that means drop in visits, walks, hikes, hosting pets in our home, grooming, transporting your pet, and more. We own our home in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood with a secure, fully fenced backyard. Our fence and doors always remain locked, as we take every precaution to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for visiting pets. As a precaution, we never use the front door. Instead, we go through our garage, allowing us to close the garage door behind us before opening any doors. This extra barrier helps ensure that your pet is always safely contained. Whether your pet loves structured play or relaxing company, I tailor care to fit their unique needs. You can expect frequent updates and photos-just let me know how often you'd like to hear from me. I know how important peace of mind is when you're away. I truly can't wait to meet your furry friend and give them the same care and attention I'd want for my own!

Jordan was incredible! I cannot recommend her enough. She went above and beyond to make sure our Sunny girl was loved and taken care of and with her background in veterinary care we had full confidence knowing Sunny was in good hands. She sent us picture updates and was very easy to communicate with. We will absolutely be using her again in the future.

Jordan & Cody were amazing caregivers for Luna. They had a level of experience with Samoyed’s that was very comforting, and were very warm and welcoming. I would very highly recommend them!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety is my absolute top priority. I take multiple precautions to ensure a secure environment at all times. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard with a locked gate, and dogs are always supervised when outside. As a precaution, we never use the front door. Instead, we go through our garage, allowing us to close the garage door behind us before opening any doors. This extra barrier helps ensure that your pet is always safely contained. I’m also trained in pet CPR and experienced in handling pets with medical needs or special care requirements. To give you peace of mind and keep you connected, I send photos and updates twice daily.

Pets

A typical day

I tailor every part of the day to each dog, aiming to keep their routine as close as possible to what they’re used to, while still making sure they have a fun and engaging experience. Dogs are fed according to their owner’s instructions to keep things familiar and comfortable. Playtime, including games of fetch in our large, secure fenced yard and a brief walk (weather permitting), is part of the daily routine. Longer walks are also available as an add-on for extra exercise and adventure. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever their owner prefers, whether that’s in my bedroom, the living room, or in a crate if that’s more comfortable. We’re completely okay with dogs being on furniture if that’s what they’re used to at home. I also offer grooming, ear cleaning and nail trims as optional add-on services. To ensure a safe and healthy environment, my home is thoroughly sanitized between stays. Every pet is unique, so whether it’s energetic play or calm cuddles, your furry friend will always feel safe, happy, and loved. Communication is key, so I encourage owners to share their pet’s habits, preferences, and any special needs to provide the best personalized care possible.

• To provide the best care, I ask that you share information about your pet’s routine, diet, behavior, habits and any special needs or medical conditions before their stay. • Please bring enough food for your dog’s entire stay plus at least one extra meal in case of emergency or if you are delayed returning. • All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and free of fleas, ticks, and parasites. • Please bring your dog’s leash, collar or harness, and anything else that’ll help them feel comfortable. I do have bowls available, although you’re welcome to bring your own. • If your pet requires medication, I’m happy to administer it with clear instructions.
