Hi! I'm a full-time special education teacher who offers house sitting during school breaks, holidays, and select weekends, as well as drop-ins during most weekends and some evenings. I have experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments, and I’m also comfortable caring for small animals like fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, and rats. I bring the same patience, structure, and attentiveness I use in the classroom to every pet I care for. The base rates listed on my profile cover standard care for dogs and cats. If your booking includes additional animals (such as reptiles, small pets, or fish) alongside dog/cat care, a small additional fee may apply to reflect the extra time and care required. I'm happy to go over those details with you before confirming. For house sitting, I offer both standard overnight care and full-day (24-hour) care. Full-day care is ideal for pets with separation anxiety or medical needs who require someone present most of the day. Outside of errands (typically 2-4 hours at a time and totalling 6-8 hours a day), I’ll be at the home providing consistent supervision and comfort. I care deeply about creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for your pets--and I’m always happy to follow detailed instructions to keep their routines consistent while you're away.
