Will Protect Your Pets With My Life
Care Notes: - I don't mind larger animals, and I'm unfazed by large dogs. Mastiff? German Shephard? Husky? Pitbull? Those lovable goofs have my heart and I haven't even met them yet. - I am physically fit enough to carry animals up to 50-100 lbs, depending on the distance needed to carry them, and depending on how much they mind being carried. I can also run with dogs and keep up with pullers on walks just fine. - I have experience with senior and disabled animals! The older ones are very sweet and are rarely an issue, but I am extra gentle with them due to their frailty. - I do hand feed pets on occasion, eg if the pets do not eat or do not smell their food well. They tend to respond better to this if they aren't in the mood for food. - I don't mind addressing any medical concerns your pets may have, as long as ample instruction is provided. I have mixed pills into food and administered liquid medication before, and anything that doesn't involve forcing the pet's mouth open or some similarly dangerous thing would be fair game. - If I'm needed to pick up care items, like food or medication for issues that come up during the care periods, I'm happy to do so. - If pets are messy and cleaning supplies are provided, I'm happy to take care of any messes that come up, even that nervous diarrhea that pets get when their parents are gone. - I will by default try to keep you all updated on your pets, and will have some kind of report for each walk and drop in on the Rover Card. I love taking pictures of pets so look forward to those as well. I'm here not just for the pets to be taken care of, but for you all to be at ease knowing that I'm at the helm. - I usually try to set up a meet and greet for all pets, for the ease and security of all parties. - I legitimately love animals of all shapes and sizes, and will almost certainly love yours as well. Past experience: - I've volunteered at the Humane Society for several months - I've been on Rover taking care of all sorts of pets since early 2022. Mostly dogs, but cats and other smaller pets have been in my care as well. - I frequently take care of pets (fed, cleaned up after, walked, played with) while the homeowners are away on vacation, both on and off Rover. Schedule and Booking Notes: My schedule is flexible and I can schedule more regular meetings as needed. I try to accommodate as much as I can, which is typically a lot. My whole deal is jumping through hoops whenever I'm needed to. I do not currently have a residence that allows for pets, but I am happy to sit for any number of pets in a client's home. Just give me instructions and all the necessary resources and I'm off to the races.

My own home: n/a, not currently available for booking Your home: - I will, to the best of my ability, try to take care of your pets in the same way you would. By extension, the more details you're able to provide about the care you would like, specifically, for your pets, the better the experience. - Whenever I am available and when asked, I do stay over so that your pet has company. Should I not be available, you will know prior to booking officially. - Regular walks are a must for a lot of the pets and I do give as many as you would request of me. - I will play with your pets as much as I am able, and depending on the amount of engagement available to them - Most of your home will be largely untouched by me, since I'm really only there to care for your pets.

Always a pleasure using Joe-el. He's attentive and gives very thorough updates. He sends videos and photos and my pets love him. I trust him to make sure they are age and everything is ok while I am gone.

Joe-el was more than good he was amazing. He sent constant videos and updates daily as well as long updates and summary of the entire stay at the end. He made us fill comfortable flying abroad and would book him again for sure.
Jor-el is awesome, sends tons of videos and pics during the booking so it makes being apart from our boy a little easier. I know ringo always gets a lot of affection and playtime which is paramount for my fiancée and I. We’re planning on rebooking him whenever possible. 10/10 would recommend!
This is the third time we’ve had Jor-el watch our dog and we plan to continue using him when we go out of town. He is great with our pup, sends the best updates and videos and leaves the house exactly as we left it. 10/10

Schedule
I go between working part time to working full time! For the rest of 2022, I'm likely to be part time and have availability every day until I'm booked, holidays included. I will update this in 2023, should things change significantly--I'm slated for a lecturer position, but part time in the evenings for the winter and spring of 2023, which keeps me free for most of the day still. HOWEVER, the amount of time I can spend with your dog on a full time 24/7 basis is limited. Because I do have work and other obligations, there can be periods of hours where I would not be available, even if I am around for most of the day otherwise. Any dogs who absolutely cannot be left alone for short periods and also cannot be taken anywhere would be difficult to take care of.
