Safety, trust & environment
I treat every pet like my own, taking time to get to know their personality and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. While being a pet sitter, I’ve met countless dogs and they’re all different. Some are more shy and quiet and some can be jumpy and restless. I can handle any type of dog since I always go at their pace and adjust my care to meet their needs.

Information Joon Woo L. would like to know about your pet
I like to know about any quirks—like separation anxiety, reactivity, or special dietary needs—before I watch your pet. Are they social butterflies who love meeting other dogs, or should I keep a watchful eye on other dogs in our vicinity. Also please let me know if your fur baby is the type to go for food scraps since there can be a lot of that in some parts of the neighborhood.
A typical day
I’ve been getting a ton of steps in by dog walking for Rover. If your dog is close by fort tryon park, I like to do a loop around the park going up to Met cloisters and around past the view of Washington Heights. If your dog likes the dog parks, then we can hangout there as well. If dog parks aren’t your thing, I’ll happily stay away and increase my steps instead.

Pet care experience
My Labrador Retriever, Blossom, was my companion for six amazing years. We’ve gone everywhere from Times Square to camping by the Appalachian Trail. These days, Blossom is living her best life with my family in Washington State, where she has plenty of space to run around. I missed the daily adventures and connection that came with living with a dog, so I started pet sitting on Rover and have been for the past year. Since then, I’ve met dozens of new dogs and had the pleasure of creating memorable bonds with so many pets. I take pet sitting seriously and always treat them like my own fur babies. With my experience as highly rated pet sitter, I’m excited to bring my care and attention to the pets I look after through Rover. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my priority!

Reviews

My dog looks happy and well taken care of 😁

Joon is exceptional; highly recommend to anyone looking for a kind and responsible walker

A great sitter! My dog can be picky and depressed when being boarded. Joon's willingness to work with me to try to get my girl happier means a lot to me! Very flexible, communicative, and kind sitter and walker!

Braved the snow to take care of our sour puss over the holidays.
