For more than 30 years, I’ve cared for animals with one simple philosophy: the best care is the care that fits the pet. I provide experienced, personalized care for pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and care needs, and I understand that no two pets—or households—are exactly alike. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible while you’re away. That might mean a walk and playtime for an energetic dog, a quiet visit with an older pet, following an established medication or special-care routine, or simply spending time with a pet who feels safest at home. Communication is an important part of the care I provide. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can enjoy your time away without wondering what’s happening back home. My services include: - Personalized drop-in visits - One-on-one dog walks - Feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and playtime - Senior pet care and individualized routines - Medication and special-care support when appropriate - Overnight care in your home - Basic home care while you’re away I intentionally focus on individualized, in-home care rather than high-volume pet sitting. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine always come first. I take time to learn their personality, habits, triggers, and any special instructions before care begins. I follow your established feeding, medication, walking, and household routines carefully and never force interaction with a pet who needs time or space to feel comfortable. I also understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home. I treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect in my own, keep doors and gates secure, and communicate regularly with updates and photos. My goal is for you to come home to a safe, happy pet and your home just as you left it.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide care throughout the day rather than trying to fit visits around a traditional 9-to-5. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and overnight care, including recurring weekday visits. Whether your pet needs a midday break while you’re at work, several visits while you’re traveling, or overnight companionship, I’ll work with you to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible.

- Before caring for your pet, I want to know what makes them them! Tell me about their normal routine, favorite activities, personality, quirks, and what helps them feel comfortable. I also need to know about medications or health considerations, feeding instructions, allergies, mobility needs, behavioral concerns, fears or triggers, and how they typically respond to new people and other animals. For dogs, please let me know about leash behavior and anything I should be aware of when we're outside. And don't forget the fun stuff—favorite toys, treats, games, hiding spots, and those wonderfully weird little habits every pet seems to have. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can keep their routine familiar, safe, and happy while you're away.
