I go to school at St. Ambrose University and during the spring semester I have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am available for housesitting pretty much any day and always available for drop ins or walks. I am always open for last minute bookings!

Whenever I am watching a neighbors dog while staying in their house I make sure I am constantly spending time with them and getting their energy out, whether it is playing fetch, taking them on a walk, or even just cuddling on the couch with them. I always make sure they consistently get out to use the restroom. I love spending my time with your cute doggos and making sure they are happy as can be while your away!

A typical day
I love to go on walks with your dogs and give them the most attention possible during the day while I’m staying with them because I know it can be difficult for them when their everyday routine changes. I also do my very best to stick to what they are used to.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember I have always enjoyed taking care of them and making sure they are living their best life. I have three dogs of my own including a labradoodle and two french bulldogs. I consistently watch all the dogs in my neighborhood and watch my friends cats as well. I also have a lot of experience with puppies due to my family being guide dog raisers for a long period of time. Along with puppies I am also good with senior dogs due to my family choosing to foster a lot of senior dogs. I also have experience and love all sizes and kinds of dogs. I look forward to treat your animals as if they are my own and show them every bit of love and care you would show them.

I hate to have to leave a review like this, but I have to be honest. We booked Jonna to house and dog sit for 12 days. Unfortunately we had to fire her on day two. When we hired her to house and dog sit we expected just that, that she would spend most of her time at the house dog sitting. We have outdoor security cameras and a smart garage door opener. Therefore, we were able to monitor when Jonna was at the house. We left at 6:30 AM the first day of our vacation. That day Jonna didn't show up to let our dog out until 4 PM. She stayed until roughly 8 PM and then left the house not returning until after 5:30 AM the next morning. She stayed that day until around 1 PM and then left and did not return until 9:30 PM that evening. She then left again at 10:30 PM and returned at 11:30 PM, stayed for an hour and left again at 12:30 AM. At this point we'd had enough. Not knowing how long or at what time she'd be returning this time, we called my sister to get our dog and lock down the house. This all happening in the middle of the night, disturbing my sister and family and stressing us, who were hundreds of miles away unable to do anything. It was then, at roughly 1 AM, that we called Jonna and told her that she was terminated and not to return to the house. While it was stressful for us, since Jonna is a college student we were willing to give her the benefit of the doubt the first night. That ended when it appeared she may be doing the same thing the second night. It left us very concerned about the safety of our dog and the safety of our house. I'm just thankful we were able to see all this going on and stop it. We are also thankful my sister was available or we would have immediately come back home ending our vacation, costing us a lot of money. Seems perhaps Jonna wanted to try house and dog sitting and living the college life at the same time. While we wish her the best in her college endeavors, we DO NOT recommend Jonna as a house and dog sitter. We will, also, NEVER use Rover.com again!
Jonna did great job caring for our pups and our home! It was great knowing that our puppies were safe and comfortable at home while we were away and will definitely reach out to her again next time!
Jonna was amazing! She took such good care of our dog, cat, and house for the 9 days we were on vacation. We definitely felt confident that our babies were cared for and loved while we were away. We will definitely book with her again in the future!
Jonna was great! We had her house/dog sit for the weekend. She is very kind and pleasant, house and dogs were very well-cared for.
