I'm at home all day so your pet will have my attention and care the whole time s/he is with me. My teenage son also loves animals and will help from time to time.

I have a fenced yard and a big gentle Malamute x that will keep your dog company. I am able to crate your dog if needed and follow your feeding routine. Water is available at all times.

I would need to know the following: • any medical issues, including surgeries and injuries, past and present. I will not take care of very sick dogs - sorry. • dog MUST be house trained. I do not accept "pad trained" dogs. This becomes an unpleasant visit with me cleaning up mess in my house. • any aggressive/guarding tendencies (eg. possessive over food or toys etc) • has the dog been spayed/neutered? • is the dog comfortable around cats, other dogs, and children? • age of the dog • general temperament including any phobias I do not accept pitbulls/ bull terriers/ Staffordshire terriers/ rottweilers or any other aggressive breeds, or any mixes thereof.
A typical day
There are some really great parks nearby for lots of walks and outdoor fun like playing fetch. It's a great neighborhood for walks so we will definitely be doing lots of that!

Pet care experience
I have owned, taken care of, and loved many different breeds my whole life so I have experience with all kinds of temperaments, ages and special needs. I use positive reinforcement and NEVER resort to physical discipline of any kind! I am fit and strong (can carry/pick up dogs up to 25kg). I have also had experience working at a humane society in South Africa. I can administer oral medication; I can administer ear and eye medications; I can administer skin treatments; I am comfortable clipping nails if the dog is not fearful of the process; I love brushing coats! I am able to soothe dogs that are stressed or scared (eg: during storms, fireworks etc). I treat my own dogs like family (my babies!) and will treat yours the same way!
