I am currently retired and so I am very flexible with scheduling. I currently share my home with two chihuahuas and four cats, so I am not available for overnight stays with fur babies in your home.

I have a large fenced in yard, with a covered porch and doggie door to the back for any daycare at my home. I will play with, cuddle, feed and pamper your pet during day visits, or even give your pup a lovely bath if desired. If you have caged pets I can also give them expert care!

A typical day
I have access to two different dog parks for socialization and play, and love to play interactive games such as fetch and tug. I have a quiet neighborhood to explore with lots of interesting smells and a nearby duck pond. An in-home visit would include feed and clean water, lots of cuddles, interactive play time, and any special needs addressed.

Pet care experience
Growing up, our family always had a variety of pets. We were avid campers and spent a lot of time in nature, where we learned love and respect for all creatures. We always had a German shepherd and several cats. In addition to dogs and cats, I have loved, raised and enjoyed the company of nearly any kind of pet you can imagine- birds, rats, mice, gerbils, a hedgehog, fish in aquariums and backyard ponds, and hermit crabs, to name a few- so I am very versatile as a caregiver for your babies of any species! All of my current pets are rescues from bad situations, so I have learned some behavioral and emotional support techniques and to accept certain limits on how much a pet can give or receive. Both of my current dogs are seniors and so I am also experienced with elder care. Quirks are my specialty!

Joni was an absolute life saver. She came in on short notice and watched my cat for a whole week. She sent tons of photos and took care of my cat like it was her own! 10/10
Although my kids (4 cats) were bashful Joni did an amazing job taking care of them! She always made sure that they had food clean water in their boxes were cleaned out. I can’t thank Joni enough for the wonderful care she took care of my cats while I was away. I definitely will use Joni again when I go back to visit Family I just hope the next time the kids aren’t so bashful. Thank you, Joni. God bless you.
Joni was awesome. Cali was really happy to see her, and she got Cally to lay down while she was here. So that was a big relief.
