I have been a dog owner for nearly my entire adult life. I have also cared for my friends dogs for all of those years, often for 1-2 weeks at a time so they can go away on holiday and know that their fur babies are cared for as they would care for them. I have worked all these years with lots of training into my dogs, from basic to advanced as well as separation anxiety. I currently have a senior dog and a 1.5yr old pup so my home is equipped for tiring out a younger dog as well as enrichment or special needs (ramps stairs etc for the older generation). It is super important to me that your dog keeps their routine to the best of my ability. I want to meet them where they are at! I also really focus on body language so as to try and best connect with your pup!!

Joni was absolutely amazing!! You can tell that she truly cares about dogs, and she sent me tons of great pictures. I can tell my dog was very well taken care of, and got plenty of exercise and enrichment. I'd highly recommend Joni!!

Joni is an exceptional sitter who deserves 'Star' status! From our first meeting, her dedication was clear—she even took detailed notes to ensure Pepper’s needs were met. Pepper had a wonderful time with her dog, Tilly, who is incredibly sweet. Beyond her care for the animals, Joni was 100% responsive and remarkably gracious when I made a mistake with my booking. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!
Joni is amazing! She provided the most fabulous care for Elvis and kept me updated on how he was doing on our long trip as he stayed in her care. She knows dogs so well and is so attentive to their needs, as well as willing to provide any kind of care I may have asked for. She even sent Elvis back with his favorite treats from his stay with her. I would ask her to watch Elvis again for sure!!
Joni is a kind, generous and compassionate person and a wonderful dog mom herself! She ensures her own dogs are fulfilled physically, mentally and emotionally, and are always up to date with their medical care. When she has watched our dogs (which has been frequent over the years), we always know they will be taken care of in the same way as if they were Joni's own dogs. She has a special relationship with each of them and caters to their individual needs, and they love her so much! She is also very active and makes sure they get fresh air and good sniffs outside. Sometimes I think my dogs are more excited to stay with Joni on their own vacay 😂. I can't recommend Joni enough!

Schedule
I work from home and have occasional meetings but I try not to be out of the home for more than 2hrs at most and that is a rarity. I am an early riser to ensure pups get quality time before work, also have a side yard to allow for lots of potty breaks during the day between walks and work.

Even with my own pups, that know each other well, they are fed in separate areas so they can eat with confidence, so I would ensure your pup is also in their own space. I respect their boundaries and have baby gates that allow for separation if someone just needs their own downtime.
