Loving & Flexible Dog Care Glasgow
Hi! I’m Joni – a lifelong animal lover based in Glasgow city centre with hands-on experience caring for all kinds of dogs, from the playful to the particular. Over the years, I’ve looked after stubborn Scottish Deerhounds, hyperactive Border Collies, and clingy Vizslas, so I understand the importance of adapting care to each dog’s unique needs and personality. Whether your pup needs patience, structure, or just a cuddle and a shadow for the day – I’m here to help. My boyfriend, Jazie, also loves to help with the dogs and is usually around to cover. We also live with my younger brother (22), who loves to give the dogs attention when he is off from Nursing. I work flexibly for the University of Glasgow, and can WFH mostly, which means I have great flexibility for last-minute bookings, long walks, or overnight care. Being based in Glasgow city centre, I’m ideally located for easy drop-offs or short journeys across the city. We booked Joni at the last minute, she was very helpful and responsive, sent lots of updates and Rio had a great time with her!
Joni stayed at ours for a few days to cat sit our 3 cats and she was amazing. The cats loved her and she sent us regular updates! One of our cats is a sphynx who also needs medication daily and this was no issue for Joni as well, and she even made sure our sphynx was warm and cosy too! We’ll definitely use her again and would recommend her highly.
Joni looked after Ali at short notice for me which was a great help. She was very responsive and amazing at giving me updates during Ali’s visit. I would definitely recommend Joni to anyone for a friendly and reliable dog sitter! 💛

Schedule
I work hybrid for the University of Glasgow. My Schedule is fully flexible to work from home when needed. Also, with three of us in the flat, your dog should have all the company they need.

Your dog will be cared for in a spacious, dog-friendly flat with a secure outdoor area for bathroom breaks and fresh air. I live just 15 minutes from Glasgow Green along the Clyde and love taking dogs on scenic walks to Queen’s Park, Kelvingrove, and beyond. I can offer calm, focused one-to-one walks, or social time with other friendly dogs I’m connected to – whatever suits your dog best. Thanks to my flexible schedule, I can provide plenty of devoted time, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. My flat also has big windows overlooking Argyle Street – perfect for dogs who love to watch the world go by.
A typical day
Our days often include scenic walks along the Clyde and a good run around Glasgow Green – the perfect mix of exercise, stimulation, and fresh air. Whether your dog loves to play fetch, chase a ball, or just have a sniff around, I tailor our time together to suit their personality and energy levels. Back home, it’s all about comfort and care – expect plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and chill time. I create a calm and loving environment where your dog will feel safe, happy, and completely at ease. You can rest assured knowing your pup will be in kind, capable hands – and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away 🐶✨
