I have owned, fostered and rescued almost every type of animal from dogs, cats, rabbits and reptiles. I have volunteered at animal shelters as well. I have owned multiple dogs in my life and I am trained to administer medicine and CPR as well as senior dog care. I have fostered litters of abandoned wild bunnies as well as puppies.

I cannot rave enough about how wonderful Jonelle and her family are! They took such great care of my dog Topo! Topo is an anxious dog but shortly after being dropped off at Jonelle’s house, she was comfortable, playing fetch, and enjoying the company of her family and two pups! She was always sending me updates and photos which help me feel relieved all weekend. I truly would recommend Jonelle’s care if you want your pup to feel at home and be loved like family. Thank you so much Jonelle and family I know Topo had a blast!
My second time using Jonelle. I adore her entire family. Dakota is well taken care of there! She is very flexible with drop off and pick-up and is a dream to work with.
Hands down one of the best sitters EVER! My cuddle bug had been going to her previous sitter for about 5 months and was still trying to warm up to them. However, after a week with Jonelle, Gina was wiggling her butt ready to go. One day she just walked into Jonelle's house without turning back to say bye or to whine. She's truly amazing and makes sure your dogs are treated as part of her family. Her family is just as great about letting your dog have space and build up comfort to bond with them. If you want someone who has great communication, is compassionate, and loves on your dogs (to the point you might consider your dog a traitor) then Jonelle is absolutely the person for you. All around a great person and sitter.

Schedule
I'm recently retired and animals are my true passion in life. I can think of no other way I would love to spend my time now then caring for animals. Rest assured I am always home. Your Pet will never be alone.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a very large fenced in yard conveniently located near O'Hare if you are catching a flight and need your pet cared for. I have 2 shihtzu's who get along great with other dogs of all sizes. All animals will have free reign of my home. I will only crate if requested by the owner. I will treat your animals like my own. They will be allowed on my couch and my bed. It's important to me they feel comfortable as it can be intimidating to be in a new environment.

A typical day
We can go for daily walks with your permission ofcourse. I live 1 block away from a large park. (Hiawatha Park) I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood.
