The Big Dog Whisperer
I've been around animals as long as I can remember. There were cats and dogs in the house throughout my entire childhood. My pet-sitting experience comes from family and friends. I have cared for dogs (both large and small), cats, and the occasional fish. While I connect with most animals, big dogs are my specialty. Whenever I meet a big, energetic dog, people notice how they are with me.

I have a house with a dog and a cat. The yard is fenceless, but there is plenty of space to put a dog on a lead.

We recommend Jonathon and will use him for pet sitting/house sitting again! Our pets were in good hands and our dog seemed especially fond of him :-)
Jonny provided care for our 2 dogs and 2 cats in our home while we were away for a weekend. He is very friendly but shows respect for the animals' personal space, giving them time to warm up on their own terms. It was comforting to know that our pets were able to maintain their normal routine - including daily walks for the dogs. We will use his service again!
I rarely needed pet care when I lived in Denver Colorado but used Rover there and it was so helpful! When we moved to Cedar Falls Iowa in 2022 we didn't know anyone and needed help with our dog while traveling. Jonathan stayed at our home and totally loved on our dog for us. Our dog was of higher anxiety (due to being a rescue from his previous life, and then having moved to a new environment with new limitations). In contrast to someone else who stayed over with Rizo, we knew he'd been exercised which meant a lot to us.

I work part time, so I should have plenty of time to care for pets. I can stop by in no longer than 5 hour increments if needed.
