Love love love dogs!
I'm a trustworthy and reliable retired teacher who will provide loving care and exercise for your dog. My home is just steps away from two parks (Knight Park and Newton Creek Park) for fresh air and frolicking. I also have a fenced-in side yard. I allow only one dog at a time for overnight stays (unless you have two, because who wants to separate brothers and sisters?) That means that your dog will get plenty of attention. You can relax knowing that your pet is in caring hands. If you need in-home visits or walking, I have a flexible schedule to meet your needs. I also offer pick-up and drop-off services for your convenience and bathing with hypo-allergenic products.

Lulu had a very nice day! Jonathan was great! Lots of communication and photos throughout the day. Lulu was recently rescued and has some fear but felt comfortable enough to eat dinner with Jonathan which is something we have been struggling with when she is not at home or with us. Can wait for her to have more wonderful days with him! Highly recommend.

This is the second time our dog, Cooper, stayed at Jonathan’s. We received lots of updates while we were away and appreciated knowing Cooper was well taken care of and having tons of fun with his buddy, Pogi.
Our pet Wiley had an amazing time at Jonathan's home for a 1 week boarding session. We received multiple daily photos, along with detailed messages about how our little boy was doing. Jonathan was very accommodating to our additional requests (diapering Wiley while indoors and being cautious with activity due to a collapsing trachea). I would say that Jonathan is a great fit for anyone who prioritizes a very attentive caregiver for their dog.

Schedule
I currently tutor Spanish online from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can take your dog on walks every two hours and will make sure they are fed and take their meds, if needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a comfortable, quiet place for your dog to play or relax with plenty of toys for stimulation. For sleeping, I can provide either a comfy bed or if you prefer, a crate with a memory foam liner. Most dogs enjoy playing with my good-natured 14 lb. Chiweenie, but your pup can have their own private space if you prefer.
Pets
A typical day
I live between two great dog-friendly parks: Newton Creek Park and Knight Park. We'll go for 4 - 5 nice walks each day through shady areas and open fields. I also have a small fenced-in yard to hang-out in on nice weather days. At home, I have lots of stimulating toys for relaxing play time. You can also choose to have a gentle bath with hypoallergenic doggie shampoo and conditioner.
