Animals have always been central to my life — dogs, cats, and small animals alike. As a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, I bring military-grade reliability and integrity along with a genuine love for animals. My wife and I currently care for two shepherds at home — a German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd — and our pet family has included cats and guinea pigs over the years. I am actively administering subcutaneous fluids to my Aussie for kidney disease, and am comfortable with oral medications, injections, and special medical routines. I am comfortable around dogs large and small, and I'm experienced reinforcing basic obedience and training commands during walks and visits.

I follow your house rules precisely, send photo updates, and leave your home secure and exactly as I found it. I currently manage medical care for my own Australian Shepherd, so I understand what it truly means to be trusted with an animal's wellbeing.

Jon is the epitome of an animal lover! He truly cares about pets and loves to get to know them individually. I have known Jon to be sweet with elderly cats, playful with young puppies, and everything in between. I trust Jon to communicate clearly when I am out of town, and give my pets more than enough love and attention. Sometimes I think they enjoy when I leave so they can spend time with him!
Jon is a very caring and warm pet parent, treating every cat and dog like family no matter their breed or size. He pays close attention to their individual needs, ensuring they receive personalized care and attention. He excels at snuggling, walking, playing and praising. He also has experience with dog training and commands, and will work with you to make sure he understands your needs and reinforce your desired training structure.

As a retired veteran, I have flexible and consistent availability throughout the week, including short-notice requests. I offer walks and drop-in visits any day, with house sitting scheduled around your needs.
