I work from home currently so I will be home 24/7. I am almost always able to pause what I am doing and immediately jump to action. I am a homebody so I will be home to care for your cat almost constantly!

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. It is quite spacious. Both bedrooms are carpeted! I have two cats. Poptart and Lady. Both are as friendly as can be and were instant companions. Neither have ever shown any signs of aggression. Lady actually has taken on a caretaker role for PopTart and I am sure she would be delighted to care for more. You will be given the option during booking for your cat to stay in my second bedroom or if you would like to allow them to freeroam at night. The second bedroom is my current cats bedroom and it is decked out for your cats comfort. Multiple large cat beds, a couch to sleep on, multiple toys, and I even have a TV set up to play bird videos for your cats playtime! I obviously will be keeping the cats separate at night when I cannot monitor them. If you would prefer your cat to freeroam at night then I will put them in their bedroom at night as usual. If you would prefer your cat to stay in my guest cat room then I will allow the cats to freeroam and close the bedroom door. Your cat will be a constant priority.

A typical day
A typical day will be waking up, greeting the cats, and giving them food time! Followed by that I will do some work from home while the cats play together. I will take multiple breaks to play with the cats. I have tunnels, tons of little miscellaneous cat toys, kicking toys, and ball chasing toys! I am also very open to taking your cat for a walk if a harness is provided. I have a cat stroller if you’d prefer they stay secure but still want them to get some fresh air. Once 8 PM rolls around I will give them another portion of food. I usually then lay in bed and unwind with some TV and allow the cats to settle in wherever they want. There is a cat tree in the bedroom for them to relax on! Once I am tired I will put the cats in their respective sleeping areas!

I have cared for cats most of my life! I grew up in the country and had about 8 outdoor cats that I cared for growing up. Fast forward to today and my home has 2 wonderful cats that I care for! Both are special needs. PopTart has cerebellar hypoplasia and Lady comes from a former abusive home. I am very well versed in taking on any complex situations that may arise due to my experience with my special needs cats. I have loved cats for my whole life. Many cats I have met left a lasting impression on me. I remember all of their names. PopTart, Lady, Kellogg, Waffles, Buttercup, Lucy, Tigger, and the list goes on. I hope to add your cat to the list of cats that have changed my life!
