You’re in the right place. - Why choose me? • Nearly 10 years of hands-on animal care • Fully focused care (max. 3 pets at a time) • Regular updates with photos (over 6 per day) • Flexible, attentive, and tailored to your pet’s needs - I’ve cared for animals for nearly a decade, starting with family and friends and naturally expanding through recommendations. It’s something I truly love - and something I take seriously. My own dog, Eddings (a miniature dachshund you’ll see in my gallery), passed away in early 2024. Since then, caring for other people’s pets has become even more meaningful to me. - What makes me different? I don’t overbook. While many carers juggle large groups alongside other work, I limit myself to no more than three pets at a time. This means your pet gets the time, attention, and care they truly deserve - whether they’re shy, energetic, or somewhere in between. Experience with a wide range of animals: Dogs, cats, rabbits (including my former house-bunny Bowzer), guinea pigs, small birds and even spiders during my time in Australia! - A typical day Walks in local Beckenham parks, enrichment games, toys, and plenty of attention. I provide toys and treats, but I’m happy to use your pet’s favourites too. - Personalised care Every pet is different. I’m comfortable following specific routines, administering medication, and adapting to breed-specific or age-related needs. - Clear, consistent communication • Timely updates on arrivals and schedules • Over 6 photos per day (if you’d like them!) • Quick responses - usually within the hour. Your pet’s wellbeing always comes first. Always a pleasure to leave the pups with Jonathan. He clearly adores the dogs and they always run up to his front door whenever we visit, eager to see him. And they’re always tuckered out afterwards. Jonathan is very easy going and a delight to talk to. Recommend highly.
Mungo’s first time with Jonathan and it couldn’t have gone better! Jonathan is caring and communicative, and Mungo had a lot of fun with him. We’ll definitely be using his fantastic services again.
Jonathan was absolutely fantastic with Mabel. As first-time puppy parents leaving her for a few nights during a heatwave, we were naturally a little nervous, but Jonathan couldn't have been more reassuring. He took great care of Mabel, was very mindful of the hot weather, and made sure she was comfortable, safe and well looked after throughout her stay. What we appreciated most was the regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to relax knowing she was in such good hands. It was clear from the updates that Mabel was happy, settled and having a wonderful time. Jonathan is caring, reliable, communicative and clearly loves dogs. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Mabel with him again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter. Hendrix had a lovely time as always with Jonathan. We were very pleased that Hendrix's first overnight doggy daycare was stress-free and successful. Couldn't recommend Jonathan more.

Schedule
Schedules & Routines... (If you've read the part entitled: "Pet care experience" you've probably read this already!) Caring for your pet is my full time job. I appreciate that a lot of people now work from home for their full time job, and see pet care as an enjoyable diversion. But for me, your pet becomes the primary focus of my day if that's what you want. I can be flexible, focused and loyal as I also limit the number of pets I care for on any given day. So if you have a special but shy fur baby who prefers their own company, I'll do my best to make sure their peace isn't disturbed. Or if you have a pooch pining for other furry friends, well I'm sure we can find that special someone. The long and short of this is that I will be as flexible as I can, and I'll always do my very best to ensure that your pet is cared for in a way that's best for them. With this in mind, I'd ask you to also be aware that depending on the nature of the animals involved, I may have to turn some away. It breaks my heart to do it but I know you'll understand my priority is the well being of all animals in my care, and sometimes this is a necessary evil to ensure the happiness and health of all involved.

Safety, trust & environment... (If you've read the part entitled: "Pet care experience" you've probably read this already!) Like all things in life, timing is important. Whilst accidents happen and we can't see into the future, I will always keep you up to date on when and where I'll be arriving for pick up, or drop off. You'll have pics sent to you at least 3 times a day (only if you want them, of course. But who doesn't love getting pictures of their best fuzzy friend?). If there are any issues I won't keep them to myself, you'll be notified of anything you need to know but I will always do my best to resolve situations myself to ensure I don't waste your time. Whilst your time may not be *quite* as precious as your little buddy, there's a reason you're trusting me to take care of them and I will ensure that I respect that.
A typical day
Every day adventures... (If you've read the part entitled: "Pet care experience" you've probably read this already!) On an ordinary day we'll be walking into one of the local parks along with a mixture of preferred fetch toys (I have a mixture of my own, but I'm happy to carefully look after friendly favourites if you want to provide them!). Treats (either pet specific from owner, or shop bought by me) take a small part of indoor games to inspire thinking through puzzle games.
