My dog is a big weenie and scared of a lot of things. So it is always stressful to leave my dog with new sitters, where if he is too stressed, he becomes very uncooperative. Thankfully, Jonnie has a very welcoming and soft demeanor that my dog finds safe to be around, which is a major part of the battle with finding a sitter for my little chihuahua mutt. I have seen my dog cuddle up to him and be relaxed, which is a huge relief for me when I am away. Jonnie is also very responsive to specific requests of handling and care of your pet, if your animal is very particular like my dog.

I have two of the most particular babies, a 15yr old senior cat and a 5 month old kitten, both with completely different needs, personalities and diets, and the two don't always get along. I was so worried about leaving them that I almost skipped my vacation, but Jonnie made it possible. Jonnie completely understood that my senior cat needed space and gentle affection, while the kitten needed supervision and high energy play. I left a long list of instructions for their different foods, medications, and routines, and they followed it all perfectly. I got tons of photos and updates the whole time and felt comfortable and confident leaving my cats in their care. Now anytime I have to leave my cats, Jonnie is first on my list of caretakers!

My kitty Flower LOVES Jonnie. She’s usually a total scaredy-cat and hides when people come over, however, not the case with Jonnie. Jonnie took the time to let her warm up, and I can tell she’s a big fan. I highly recommend Jonnie for overnight stays as I always come back to a happy kitty and a home that is cared for. Oh, and Jonnie successfully gives Flower her weekly medication! 5 stars!
