Pet care experience
Walks, Wiggles, and Wagging Tails
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, from Labs and Saint Bernard's to Boxers and now my own Australian Shepherd. I grew up helping care for family dogs and took on full responsibility when my parents were away. After university, I adopted my Aussie and quickly learned the ins and outs of puppyhood (and all the patience it takes!). I’ve spent years learning about training and behavior through books, obedience classes, and agility training. I live an active lifestyle and love bringing dogs along for walks, hikes, and adventures. But if your dog is more of a couch potato, that's okay too! I currently have extra time in my schedule and would love to help care for your pup as if they were my own. 🐾

Ratings and reviews
Rocky had his first day of doggy day care. Rocky had fun playing with Jonathan, his partner and their dog Ekko. They kept me posted on his activities throughout the day. I will definitely book other play dates with Jonathan.

Jonny is a fantastic and responsible dog sitter! He’s active, reliable, and truly cares about the dogs he looks after. His own dog, Echo, is friendly and well-behaved, which makes for a great match if your pup enjoys some playful company. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Highly recommend Jonny to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!
Ollie had the best time with Jonathan! He took him on fun walks and hikes, gave lots of love and attention, and made sure Ollie was happy and comfortable the whole time. We could tell Ollie felt safe and loved. Jonathan is the kind of dog sitter every dog wishes for!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m currently self-employed and working from home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate to your dog’s routine — whether that’s early walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles. Your pup’s needs will always come first.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog must be friendly with other dogs. I have an older Australian Shepherd at home who’s friendly and adaptable, happy to play or give your dog space if that’s what they prefer. Since my yard is small, I make sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time with multiple walks each day, whether short potty breaks or longer adventures. If you are a new client, we'll let our dogs have a meet & greet to make sure they get along. I also have a medium-sized crate available if needed and I’m happy to follow any routines or special requests to make your dog feel right at home. 🐕
