Trusted, Experienced Dog Care in Bergen-Lafayette 🐾 Hi! I’m Jonathan, a retired U.S. Army Veteran, lifelong dog lover, and current Rutgers University graduate student pursuing my Master’s in Social Work. I’ve proudly been caring for dogs through Rover since 2022, and with my updated school schedule, I once again have the flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for your pup. My wife, Dayane, and I are both passionate dog parents to our two friendly girls, Coco and Maya. Between my flexible class schedule and the days my wife works from home, someone is almost always home to supervise, play with, and care for your dog. We believe dogs deserve companionship, structure, and plenty of love while their families are away. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs requiring medication, and even helped raise an entire litter from birth, caring for both mom and puppies for several weeks. Every dog receives the same level of attention and care as if they were one of our own. Your dog’s safety is always my top priority. I completed Cat & Dog First Aid Training in 2022, and my military background has taught me responsibility, consistency, and attention to detail. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime in our fenced backyard, cuddles on the couch, or simply relaxing in a calm environment, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved. We are located in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood of Jersey City with a fully fenced backyard that provides plenty of room for supervised outdoor play. We also take regular neighborhood walks based on each dog’s comfort level, age, and energy level. When your dog stays with us, you can expect: • Frequent photo and video updates so you can see how they’re doing. • Plenty of supervised playtime and exercise. • Medication administration if needed. • Fresh water available at all times unless otherwise requested. • Individualized care based on your dog’s routine and personality. • A calm, loving home environment where your pet is treated like family. Before every stay, I like to learn about your dog’s routine, favorite toys, feeding schedule, sleeping habits, and any special needs so I can make their visit as stress-free as possible. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your best friend. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while giving your dog a fun, safe, and loving home away from home. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Jonathan went above and beyond caring for my puppy Pecan! Pecan had a blast with walks, playtime, and spending times with their dogs. Lots of pics & videos showed him happy in their spacious yard. Highly recommend!
Jonathan and Dayane watched over my dog Simba and provided the absolute best care for him. Simba was very well taken care of. They walked him, fed him, played with him and everything. I can really tell that Simba enjoyed his time with them. They also provided videos and pictures of Simba’s adventures on a daily basis. While I was away, I could rest assured that Simba was enjoying his time and being taken care of. I would absolutely book again with Jonathan and Dayane.
Jonathan and Dayane were amazing! They literally took my baby in at the drop of a dime when I was desperate for a sitter I could trust in a new city. They updated me multiple times a day to provide peace of mind that my dog was doing ok. I don’t think they even wanted him to leave when I came to pick him up. I’ll board with them over and over again, no question!
Jonathan is the best! He’s always been so great with our dog, who isn’t always easy

Get ready for a day filled with pure bliss and tailored activities for your pups! Mornings will be dedicated to ultimate relaxation, with the option of a cozy nap in our delightful doggie tent. As the day unfolds, your furry friends will be spoiled with a wide selection of dog toys, ensuring endless entertainment and playtime. Come afternoon, it's time for an exciting adventure to Lincoln Dog Run Park, scheduled between 12-3pm. At the park, your pups will have the opportunity to socialize and play with other furry pals, or if it's a quieter day, we'll embark on a leisurely stroll around the park, taking in the fresh air and surroundings. The fun doesn't stop there! Evenings are reserved for enchanting late-night dog walks at the park, between 7pm and 9pm, giving your pups another chance to explore, stretch their legs, and revel in the joys of the great outdoors. Rest assured, your furry companions will have a meticulously crafted itinerary filled with relaxation, play, and exciting park excursions.
