I'm currently a freelance videographer and editor, so I have plenty of time to spend cuddling or playing with your pets :) Lots of my time is spent editing on a laptop, so I will be able to always fit within yours and your pets schedule. I am also a part time pet photographer in the Reno area, and will almost certainly send you adorable photos of your companions while you're away <3 My schedule for the most part is very flexible, and only certain days of the month are busy/booked if I have a shoot scheduled, but this will be communicated well in advance before booking!

As a pet owner, I understand that safety and trust are paramount when someone else is taking care of your loved one. My top priority is always your pets' well-being and comfort. I like to always discuss with you your pets usual routines and comforts to ensure they feel as safe and at home as possible while you're away. You'll receive daily check-ins, and I'll promptly communicate any issues, big or small, like a change in appetite, keeping you fully updated on your pet's condition. I also have experience taking many different types of animals from my family's farm for routine vet visits and emergency visits, so I am well-versed in the process should any emergencies arise while you're gone.

To provide the best care, please share any known quirks, fears, or specific routines your pet follows. This includes feeding schedules, preferred sleeping arrangements, or any anxieties they might have (Keeping doors closed/open, Detachment Anxiety etc.) Knowing this upfront helps me create a comfortable and stress-free environment for them.
A typical day
I love almost every type of activity and am physically active so this mostly depends on what your animal loves to do! :) Let me know their favorite activities, toys, places, what gets them all riled up and giddy and what tires them down! I understand the importance of lots of good play throughout the day, so your pups can sleep well and your kitties don't get those 2am zoomies. And for special pets, just let me know what type of play is safe and fun for them and we'll be set 👌

Pet care experience
I grew up on 10 acres down in California with absolute animal lovers as parents. Since then, I've loved and taken care of my two incredible dogs (indoor and outdoor), and of course my 3 goofy cats. But if you count my families pets we had on our mini-psuedo-farm, many many more times that! :) All that to say, they definitely instilled their love of animals in me, along with experience caring for so many lovely and different kinds of animals that I wouldn't trade for the world. I now live in Reno, NV and my current living situation limits me to just two cats of my own. I truly miss the constant presence of more animals, which means any time spent with your pets will be filled with genuine love and enjoyment <3

Jonathan was available last minute and took great care of our husky and sent super cute photos of her! He was recommended by our neighbors and I would definitely recommend him to others!
Jonathan was very attentive to our two cats and dog. He was responsive and I appreciate that he was able to pick up this gig last minute.
I can’t recommend Jonathan more. He was so patient with my cats when they needed a careful eye on them after getting spayed/neutered. He followed their food instructions exactly, and put in extra time to play with them. Jonathan is friendly and communicative. Plus I got pictures of my cats that were absolutely adorable.
