Honestly just happy our Meeko is alive. Sitter was provided specific instructions regarding locking crates, etc. Requested booking times were loosely based, not able to be ignored. Multiple instances where the rover pictures were of the outside of our house or black or gray nothingness. We were not made aware of one of our huskies getting out and the mess that was made or waste that occurred thereafter. Yesterday morning Rover card was “forgotten” but we were reassured he was present, but then another card was put in at 330, again with a picture of nothing. Sitter did appear sometime after as the locks were on the crate but the mess was incredibly present. All three dogs were covered in waste, one so weak and lethargic he could not stand. He was taken to the emergency vet at 330 in the morning where X-rays were performed and we were told he was so severely dehydrated it had caused his heart to appear smaller on xray. Not able to afford emergency vet hospitalization, have to hope home care works. I understand this was a last minute booking, but if care was not able to be properly provided, another sitter could have been secured.
